80s SoCal kid here who very well might have been there for this show or very close to it. I definitely remember seeing “Baby Shamu” (Orkid), her mother Kandu and “Shamu”. The larger orca (AKA Shamu) is Corky. She’s been there for a very long time and is the oldest surviving orca in captivity currently. Sadly, Kandu (Kandu 5) was only around for about 13.5 months after this. 😢

Not baby Orkid getting stuck on the slide out while her mom was trying to help her and waited for her to get back in the water 😅😅 such a great mom she was ❤ RIP Kandu. If only she could see her grown daughter now.
