Thanks Seumas. In part 2 you’ll see that the cable is not doubled up on this 4T puller, effectively making it 2T I believe, but this makes it long enough without having to keep adjusting the length of the strops. I use wd40 on the runners to reduce the friction. Keeping it wet it slides so much easier.

Nice. Don't see many trailers of that age in that condition. Is that slipway on the Medway? .. Don't recognise it 👍

Yes, it’s on the Medway.. just down from Hoo. It’s a shame these trailers weren’t galvanised. But I wlll make sure it outlasts me at least.

Hi Jason, when are you expecting to upload part 2?
@jasonjoyce4487 Жыл бұрын
Welll, the boat is still on its trailer, hoping to launch in the next couple of weeks. I’m editing raisinglowering of the mast at the moment which will be uploaded soon. I’m going to then make part 2 and also the launching sequence. Sorry it’s taking so long, but work etc commitments are really getting in my way!

@@jasonjoyce4487 I got mine onto my trailer using your method and launched a month ago. Got some good sailing practice but need to recover on Wednesday as I’m due back to work next week.

Interesting approach. But if it works, your boat is going down the road.
