Everyone loves Jon B, yet he did the same thing and caught 5? This guy Josh here is far superior.

Goin up this weekend on the north side of the lake. Only have canoe/kayak and no fish finder. Any tips on landing a lake trout?
@BendItFishing2 жыл бұрын
Best bet is to troll lead core in a canoe, use navionics to find some drops offs and troll back and forth

Is it worth fishing sebago in the summer for lakers?
@BendItFishing6 ай бұрын
I just tried last week and it was extremely slow. I'm not sure where they go but most of the bait moves out deep and scatters

Do you salmon fish in Sebago?
@BendItFishing Жыл бұрын
Not on purpose. We have caught them jigging before
@maineman337 Жыл бұрын
@@BendItFishing I’ve never caught anything at Sebago. over by the Standish boat launch a little ways up that road towards Windham on the right there is a place you can pull over and walk down onto the train tracks called otter pond. Ever been there? You should take me and my wife out on to Sebago to catch some lake trout or something big. I don’t know if you do that kind of stuff, but she is in end-stage renal failure and is on the transplant list to get a Kidney. Last summer we started fishing Together. I always used to fish as a child that would go down to the whale wall in Portland, and catch some mackerel and then head down to camp Ellis and catch the stripers. I have always wanted to catch a big fish on Sebago. Keep it in mind for a video idea maybe 😝 lol

@@BendItFishing I’ve always caught 10 plus trout when I go some decent sized but even if you don’t the scenery is beautiful I stopped going because so many people would be swimming if I didn’t go early enough but I’ll go this weekend and tell you how it is 👌🏽

How does burping a fish on the way up work?
@BendItFishing3 жыл бұрын
Lake Trout are one of the few fish that can burp air out of their Air Blatter so they do not experience barotrauma. When we get into the 30-40 from the surface range we ease off the reeling so they can burp.
