I also watched your Lake Champlain videos, you've became the lake trout jigging master !!!!! Congrats!, awesome content! And I'm gessing now that in only 35 feet of water is probably doable with a fly rod and a sinking line. I remember catching stripers that way in up to 60 feet deep.

@@BendItFishing as someone who recently started fishing Sebago, and has mixed results, I get your love/hate relationship. Two weeks ago I caught my first Sebago laker on a kayak with your larger soft plastic. I also bought some of your smaller paddle tails and apparently need to try those next. I was similarly seeing bait in 40-60 ft last weekend.

Really love the videos and all the lessons! Please keep it up. Two quick questions. First, it sounds like you rarely fish Sebago in the summer and have a love/hate with the lake. I was curious if you could explain why? Are the fish more active or predictable in the fall and/or spring? Two, you talk about the barometric pressure in this video. Could you elaborate on that more in following videos? How much does that affect the bite and your technique? Thanks again!

The love hate is about the times I've been skunked there vs the times I've had that are amazing! But I've learned something new every time I went so it's getting to be more of a love. As far as barometric pressure it seems Lakers like increasing pressure like blue bird skies. Not sure why but they just eat jigs more than normal

Hey I’m going to fish lake Champlain for lakers next summer. What size spinning reel and what length and action rod do you use?
@BendItFishing Жыл бұрын
I use a 2500 or 3000 size reels and a 7 foot medium rod. A medium heavy would probably be better. If you've watched my champlain videos I use my jigs and the grub on champlain. Visit benditfish.com/
