Seen Stryper first time this June. Was blown away. The Guy can still sing and I haven't seen a band this tight since the original Queensryche. It was phenomenal. I was so moved by the performance that I wanted to catch thier last show in Nashville (where I will be moving for a music career) but I had a setback here in AZ so i will not be able to make it! Bummer.

Sebastian Bach is such an insane front man. When Skid Row came along I HATED THE GENRE,but could not help from being a huge fan of his vocals. Plus he is so damn over the top.....dude is just a badass

Would make sense for Poison to be there as well, all of those bands came from the same scene, Poison guitarrist CC Deville was going to be a Stryper member but the logistics didn't work out due to distance (2.5 hour drive to band practices) so instead he ended up with Poison and Poisons first show as band was opening from Stryper at a Summer Fest Rock concert in SoCal. The only issue is I doubt Skid Row would ever allow SB back in the band, too much bad blood there and their current lead singer (Erik Gronwall) can do the full Skid Row set whereas SB has lost much of his upper vocal range and wouldn't be able to pull off many of the songs for live touring. It is nice though seeing SB trying to be a little more decent of a human being now. Sad though that singers like SB and Axl Rose lived such terrible lifestyles for decades after achieving fame which ultimately took a heavy toll, both on their looks as well as their singing abilties.

This is very cool, but i need to make one thing clear......neither Gene Simmons or Kiss wrote "God Gave Rock And Roll To You." Gene has been caught saying it was his a time or two. He tweeked the arrangement and changed some lyrical content to update it a bit. Original version from the 1970s by the band Argent, then Petra, then by Petra again around 85 with updated arrangement.
