We changed front springs on my sons 307 SW a week ago -same base as the C4. Looked familiar to me. My 3 yr old grandson was 'helping' us with the work. I'm sure we will become a home built mechanic as well.

I do like a C4 2 door - its that split rear screen that makes it. Guy who goes in my local Lidl had one of the Loeb's - couple of years ago I was talking to him about how it was a special edition and he said he wasn't bothered and was going to scrap it. Guy walking past heard that and said "I'll give you scrap for it " - I hope the passer by has a great car or made a few bob moving a great car on

It's not a bad looking car, we are actually heading out at the end of the month to do some more work on this one so you will probably see it again soon.

First class video again. Sitting in the middle of the road with traffic passing your back. Your not easy scared.

Thanks Michael, the camera makes it look tighter than it was, the road was really wide so no issues 😂

Hi Phil, thanks again for watching. Nothing worse than knocks and creaking on your car. We had a great time away but now back to filming this weeks video. Talk to you on Sunday.

I had mine for 5 years, no. 242. I loved it. Only thing that ever failed were the rear shocks and the coil pack. Other than that, it was a lovely car to own.

I did not know these cars existed , thanks for that 😊 . You were brave guys out in that heat . Word of advice if your working on the ground I find cardboard is good for kneeling on , soaks up tiny stones etc . They are free at supermarkets I always keep some . walkers crisps are the best ones lol 👌 . All the best from Edinburgh .

You don’t see many on the road. I like to use my wife’s yoga mats 😂 but I always forget to start with it, you’ll see it on the time lapse part! She does get annoyed when I pinch them though 😂 Thanks for watching.

I love your channel :). Also, love you saying how you love your safe spring compressor while sitting in the road with cars going by as you change a shock. I am British, living in Arizona USA so I also love you saying it is hot there, summer here 44, not too much outside work on cars in the summer.
@HomeBuilt2 жыл бұрын
Hi, thanks for watching. I’d love to live in America but my wife never fancied it. I do think a nice air conditioned workshop would be in order if we lived in those temperatures though. Thanks again.

The exhaust heat shield ALWAYS made noise on those. In reverse, you'd hear it every time on mine.

Hey, I’m thinking about buying this but they have the same reference both sides of the front absorbers. Do they have side? Or both sides are symmetrical and interchangeable?

Why this C4 by Loeb has tu5j motor, not ew10j4s? Got C2 by loeb. Thought just C2 VTs equiped with tu5jp4s engines.

@HomeBuilt2 жыл бұрын
Hi mate, not sure about millionaires but I'm sure well be doing ok, ended up with McDonald's for lunch and 3 liters of water on the way home 😂 Supermarket vans aren't a bad shout mate as long as the payload is good on them and you can make the body cheap enough.
