Amazing person?? I love how naive people are. The guy started his "social justice climate kneeling greta environment" crusade only in his 30s, after getting exposed by Ric and Leclerc. Average driver, fake man. Glad he's gone.

@Luke Wisler Just out of curiosity: tell me one "monster Seb" thing that isn't related to multi21 like your comment is. I'm not saying there isn't any, I'm just bored of people always bringing that up. When I watch old interviews of him etc. I see the same Seb everybody loves. We know you will finally have the family time you so deserve but we sincerely hope we still get to see you in F1 in whatever capacity it is you are open to becoming. We will always be here to support your endeavors. Good luck! Aston Martin, thank you for this feature. We feel the love for Seb. Seb, we already miss you! But we are happy if you are happy. 14 years. That's how long I've followed Sebastian Vettel for. 14 years. I watched F1 since 2000, never really having a team or driver to root for. That all changed when he came along, and shocked the world in Italy 2008. It breathed a needed bit of fresh air to me, after scandals and controversy kept rocking the paddock. His quick rise in RedBull astonished me to no end, and I was proud of how fast he adapted to becoming a ruthless race winning machine. He was no saint in his dominant period, but I stuck by him through and through. In the recent years though, I found a new appreciation for how far he has come. His personal growth is just as astonishing as his racing career. The care for his family, his care for the world, for the people around him. It helped me through the last few seasons that were once again, rocked by scandal and controversy. He may not have won as many races, but what he did was win hearts instead, and that is so much better. I'll leave following all things F1 with him retiring, but at least I can say, I was there for that first win, the 4 world titles, the 53 wins, and those 5 Singapore GP wins, he's always going to be The Lion of Singapore. Thank you Sebastian.

I got into F1 in 2008 and picked my favorite driver based upon who was closest to me in age, which was Seb, and I've followed him ever since. This has been really hard, because I am absolutely terrible at keeping up with things for a long time. And yet, here I've been following the same driver for 14 years! Thank you Seb for all the memories I have to cherish for a lifetime, especially the Brazilian GP in 2012 on my birthday - I still don't think I could handle watching that one again yet. I will miss you in F1 but thank you for everything and I cannot wait to see what else you get up to 💚

It's going to be so strange without Seb on the grid. He's one of those drivers many of us don't know F1 without him. He's been a mainstay, a headliner, and a beacon. He has definitely grown with his family and become a massive humanitarian. To see his dad there in the garage for the race was excellent. I'm sure everyone wishes him and his whole family only the best in his retirement, lots of quality time together, and if we're lucky, we'll get to see him at a few races in the future. Much love 💙❤️💚☝️🌍

I remember the first race I watched, back in somewhere between 2004 and 2006. My dad told me Michael Schumacher was the best driver ever, and nobody can even come close in anything. Then in 2010 I saw Seb winning. not just winning, he went on to dominating. I saw him and Schumacher together, and they were the 2 greatest drivers ever, next to each other. What both of you have achieved is truly amazing, and I can only thank you for what you did to me, and to this sport. Your last win made one of the worst days in my life better, it gave me some comfort. Thank you Seb, I will miss you

I think what surprised me most over the years is seeing a young man grow up to a world caring, outspoken and kind father. I think we all understand that leaving is hard and wonderful at the same time. I hope you will have as much fun in the years to come as you have had in years past. I hope all of us F1 watchers and fans will keep growing like you did since you came into F1. Never stop growing, never stop improving yourself and never stop caring.
