As another, Hamilton fan, a massive one I may add, I can't agree more. Seb's style from 2010-2013 was like a video game vs the AI set to rookie mode, but the real rookie was Vettel. Of all of Hamilton's rivals, Seb is the only one I have the same level of respect for as Hamilton, with JB close behind. Alonso and Max may be fast, and fierce competitors, but idk, Seb, JB, and in later years Nico are a cut above the rest.

Abu Dhabi 2021 was nowhere near his greatest win, he didn’t even deserve to win that race. (But he still deserved the title). I’m still relatively new to F1, so I was shocked to learn that Seb Vettel, the darling of the fan base, the driver that just oozes character and positivity, was once hated by everyone. Not even Lewis gets booed on the podium or during a drivers parade. If Lewis were to drop back and become an occasional race winner, I’d imagine he’d be much more loved than he is now. Seb will always be one of my favourites, fast and funny, caring and wholesome, shame he has so specific needs to perform at his best. When he’s at his best though, literally unbeatable, Aston Martin just needs to give him everything he needs.

I wasn't always a fan of Vettel if I'm honest, but absolutely love the guy now. Really hope he can have a bit of a resurgence next season, and that when he does hang up his wheel, he stays on in the sport in some capacity, he's knowledge about the sport is unmatchable.

Just when I was thinking who they could do next, they came with a talented, passionate, one of a kind and humble driver. Thank you F1 for gifting us a driver like him.

Anyone else remember when all the other teams were laughing at Red Bull, saying a fizzy drinks company can't compete in F1? Well, seems like when you can truly motivate your people, and you have the best people, anything is possible! I also really miss Eddie Jordan as a pundit, he's such a fantastic personality, he's smart, lovely and overall a great lad that also made F1 into what it is today.
