Abu Dhabi 2021 was nowhere near his greatest win, he didn’t even deserve to win that race. (But he still deserved the title). I’m still relatively new to F1, so I was shocked to learn that Seb Vettel, the darling of the fan base, the driver that just oozes character and positivity, was once hated by everyone. Not even Lewis gets booed on the podium or during a drivers parade. If Lewis were to drop back and become an occasional race winner, I’d imagine he’d be much more loved than he is now. Seb will always be one of my favourites, fast and funny, caring and wholesome, shame he has so specific needs to perform at his best. When he’s at his best though, literally unbeatable, Aston Martin just needs to give him everything he needs.
