Volcanic Sheath is the game changer for Kensei early-midgame, and it drops from an early game dungeon too. Amazing single target damage and clearing since both the trail and the aoe can hit the target at the same time.

My weapon damage calculator personally is [base damage - {(shot number*attack speed)-1}*20)] or if slow attack speed [attack speed -1 *20 + the same base damage]. Like ancient stone sword, 375*.6 = 225. The .4 (the remainder of 1 - .6) * 20 is = 8. 219+8 = 233. This calc is on average of any enemy which may be 40 defense. A pixie sword is 330 base damage (82.5*4). But 4 shots - 1 is 3 shots to reduce the damage. 330 - (3*20) = 270 average base damage. So, to me a pixie sword has +37 base power over ancient stone sword. Average base damage.. which is a 15% increase. Now, a repeater bow is 662.5 base damage and has 33% attack speed so I calculate it like this: 662.5 * .33 is 218.62. Then 1 - .33 is .67. .67 * 20 is 13.4 so add it to 218.62 and you get 232 average base damage. To me, ancient stone sword has 233 base damage and repeater bow has 232 base damage, on average. So with the same class stats they are extremely close in dps. Now, let's calculate the divinity sword: 300 * .6 = 180. 1 - .6 is 8. 180+8 = 188. I have heard divinity's beam is really every 1.1 seconds and you might shoot on average 7 shots a second. 7 shots a second * 1.1 = 7.7 shots. 700 / 7.7 = 90.9. Add that to 188 (+90.9) and the answer is 278.9. Wait, divinity has a weakness, the beam can't be effected by berserk. 90.9 / 1.25 is 72.72. Therefore, without berserk divinity has 279(--278.9) average base power and with berserk in comparison to other swords it has (188+72.72) and that is 260.72 base power. With berserk, divinity has less average base power than 262.5 of a t13 sword and without berserk, it hits slightly higher than 277.5 of a t14 sword. An underrated item that I would like to calculate for you is the fiery katana. It has 142.5 base power and 155 * 2 shots that shoot 3 times a second. 2 shots * 3 is 6 so 6 / 7 shots a second of a regular weapon. 6/7 is .857. The base power of those shots again is 155 so 155 * .857 = 132.86. Add that to the main shot, 142.5. The 2 shots total, 132.86, + 142.5 is 275.36. Now, focusing on the attack speed, the main shot is attack speed 100% regular and the 2 shots add up to 85.7% attack speed and that's 185.7% total and extra hit attacks reduce damage by the enemy's defense. 1.857 - 1 = .857 * 20 = 17.14. Subtract 17.14 from ^275.36 and you get 258.22 average base power. A fallen one's blade sword is easily calculated as 275-20(1 extra shot) = 255. Therefore, the fiery katana has a higher average base power than an endgame dungeon sword which this katana has 258.22. You should not calculate the base damage of the class : rogue. Now, the rogue gets very crazy bonuses from it's ability unlike other classes. The reason you do not calculate base damage is the stat + bonuses are so high that the stats: attack and dexterity no longer are the best way to increase your dps. So, an item considered completely useless by most veteran players, the harlequin armor, can increase your dps even more than a leather armor of an endgame dungeon, the centaur's shield, even with it's +12 attack reactive proc. Wisdom helps the rogue increase damage of the cloak, the ghastly drape, which scales with the wisdom stat. I'm trolling, it's late, and that's all e' wrote.

new players shouldnt be rushing dungeons, the dungeons are part of the content/challenge. more specifically, theres no point in noobs doing harder content anyways. watching you all rush for endgame content getting dissapointed with losing your stuff constantly you want this to be a grind but it isnt. you think this game is unforgiving? traditional bullet hells had no items, and you were expected to beat the whole game with 3 lives. dont get good at grinding. everything in this game is cheap and easy to get. just stop dying.
