Thanks for the great vid! - tip for anyone watching this video - don’t click “max” as I’m pretty sure you need a minimun fee to do it. I clicked max twice and waited 20 minutes, then I changed it from e.g 1 SOL to 9.98 SOL and it worked

Hey Seb, I was looking into staking with DICS but i saw in another of your videos you recommend validators have a score between 9-11. They only have a score of 6 however.

Hi Simon, good question. I guess looking at the numbers straight away, it would not look good. However, the metrics that matter are good. The other points will come, when DICS directs to a website. The website is still being worked on. An overview is this: 1. Low stake? Yes, that's good, give them stake 2. Have they got a form of support? Yes, and will likely have one of the best forms of support, as they use GenesysGo as a provider 3. Do they only do SOL Staking, and do they help the community? Yes, and yes. Saint Eclectic is likely one of the most active helpers in the community. The Solana team will not provide the tools to onboard billions. It will be groups of people, and DICS education should be damn close to the best in the space IMO. So, I am personally happy to support them. Hey seb, great video! Ive subscribed 👍. what is the number of SOL listed under your staking balance? Its normally green and is something like “ +0.0251 SOL” . Is this the amount of SOL you’ve earned via staking in the past 24 hours? Or amount of SOL that you’ve ever earned via staking ? Any clarity would be appreciated, thanks

Hey mate, glad you enjoyed it :) +0.0028 SOL under the staking balance is the SOL earned through staking for one epoch. In Solana 1 epoch = 2.5 to 3 days. So after every epoch you earn SOL when you stake. You can see what epoch is under the chapter - Phases of staking & epoch. Let me know what other contents are you interested :)

No you have to unstake and wait for the next epoch and then restake the larger amount.

Yes, you are right. You can't add SOL to your staked account, you can add multiple stake accounts.

It is safer, and has no impermanent loss. I do both, but most of my SOL is staked. Impermanent Loss means if/when SOL goes crazy up, you can lose more than you farmed. Depositing into a lending protocol, I can do another video covering that, will need a few days
