Our stroke index 1 at Halifax (Ogden) GC is a monster off the tips. At 402 yards, our 5th hole doesn’t sound too brutal, but the course is on top of the moors, and the wind is strong as you’d expect. Especially the fifth which is almost in a chute. So you can add a couple of extra clubs on your approach. There’s a water hazard that runs down the right, then dissects the fairway at 250. That hazard then runs all the way down the left past the green that’s a two tier slick Rick. It’s a smashing hole, on what is for one of the most underrated courses in the UK.

Great video seb 👌 I’ve only played Taylor made from my 200 forged iron back a few years ago to p790 recently but I’ve actually pulled out my tour preferred irons lately with super stiff kbs shafts playing the better than the p790s .my driver and farway woods are old rbz . Taylor made rock 👊🏻👊🏻

Stroke index 1 at my home course Thai Country club is a par 5 14th; 579 yards off the men's comp tees I play, 608 yards off the tips. When the LET ladies played the Aramco here last year it was the only hole they played off the red tees! Plays into the wind for 8 months of the year. Driver, 3 wood and a mid iron if I've hit two great shots, another 3 wood and a wedge if I haven't It's long but I think a couple of long par 4s are harder.
