4:20 "Who is that?". That was Dawson Leery, the main character from Dawson's Creek, a teen/drama show that peaked around the time this movie was made. You can hear 'I Don't Wanna Wait' by Paula Cole playing in the background, which was the theme song for Dawson's Creek. It's funny to be old enough to see somebody have no idea who this was a bit before your time :)

Someone else might have told you already but the janitor wearing the red striped sweater and fedora hat (the iconic outfit of Freddy Krueger) is the director/writer of "Scream" and "the Nightmare on Elm Street" Wes Anderson. RIP. Also the actress in the Opening scene was Carmen Electra the guy tied up on the patio was Prince. Carmen and Prince never officially said they were in a relationship but did admit to sleeping with each other later. That's why Carmen said " that's not my boyfriend, sure I f***ed him a few times but we aren't together. "

That last clip at the end with Marlon Wayans was a parody of famous black American movies like “menace to society”or “boys in the hood”. Which he and he is brother have made parody moves of the own about. It relates to a very real issue that was very prevalent in the mid and late 90s in America of of Asian (Korean) convenient store owners shooting and killing black young in black communities they were “part of” centered around shoplifting , but largely based in discrimination. Wld honstly love to see your reaction to some of those films. Anyway had a fun time laughing along 💕💕

I just saw this with my boyfriend for the first time last night at almost 30 years old and I swear to god this is the funniest movie I’ve seen in a long time. I was in legitimate pain from laughing so hard and I’m still sore today. There were points where I genuinely couldn’t breathe. It truly truly does. Fair Use is a very real thing and KZbin only seems to care about abiding by it when it benefits them. They let truly heinous and problematic creators wreak havoc both on and off the platform and become millionaires while perfectly nice and wholesome people just want to sit in their rooms and film genuine reactions to movies/shows/games and give people a space to get away from stuff without actually leaving the house.
