Former country hater's first time hearing of Dan + Shay - Tequila (Reaction!)

I’m Deaf and stumbled across this reaction. He says, “I’m sorry. I have to go.” She responds with “No, It’s not fair!” After she grabs his arm he says, “I have to go. Let me go.” She asks “what are you scared of? Answer me!” He says “I can’t stay here you’ve known this the whole time.” She mouths something that looks like don’t leave me- my lip reading skills aren’t great with videos. He says “come with me… I’m sorry.” She says, “Don’t!” And then he leaves. I personally love this song because I see my community represented but that’s just me. The sign for Tequila is the correct movement you made but with the T handshape- fist but with the thumb in between the pointer and middle fingers on both hands. I hope that helps and makes sense.

Dan and Shay are new to me but they are great! They are also coaches on the Voice and they seem nice and funny. There is no translation on any of the videos of this but the song kind of tells you what happened. They broke up and they remember each other when they drink tequila.

Also, I think in the argument scene, he was wanting to travel and she either couldn't go with him, or didn't want to. Given that he had an outline drawn on the map, my interpretation is that he had this goal to go on this journey and she wasn't enough to tie him down. And then he comes back at the end of the video and they're reunited.

I forgot to put in my comment that this man in the video is really deaf. He is a male model. He was on Dancing With The Stars. The only way he could learn the dances was by the music vibration on the dance floor. Him and his pro dancing partner won the trophy. It's pretty amazing.
