Good job. I teach the Bible. There were zero wasted moments in this lesson. There was zero fluff. And this guy is young. I can't wait to see how well he develops and polishes and perfects the presentation of God's Word. But I will wait. Good work. Good work.

Amen! "Taste and see that the LORD is good" Psalm 37:8 This was an amazing sermon and I pray that every seminary student who listened to this realizes how merciful and gracious and patient God is! Thank you JD for speaking the truth and explain in detail that sin is only a temporary gratification but Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior is eternal and promise forever! All honour, power and glory to Jesus Christ!

He was my pastor for 3 years in Durham NC. I had a friend that was an athiest and convinced her to go to church with me one night. She decided to get baptised that night. I walked up to him after the baptism to ask him for advice and help. I respected this man. He non chalantly passed me off to one of his volunteers. He didnt even let me finish my sentence. He is NOT a godly man.

I'm sorry that this happened to you, but in that moment, you needed God for Wisdom, not a man. God used that moment to show you not the hope in man but to hope in Him. That is stated in the Bible. I'm not saying this to chastise you or to make you feel bad, but the Holy Spirit wants you to know that the instruction and help you were seeking needs to be rooted in God not a man or woman. I hope you are still an active believer and that you have continue to seek Godly Guidance. There's nothing wrong with asking other people for help/advice but the moment you put it on them to give you answers, not God, is the moment where God will use that disappointment to open your eyes towards Him. Be Blessed

@@BHSunfogettable17 , Amen, brother. No one can bear the weight of your soul (not even J.D. Greear, as gifted a teacher as I've ever heard). No one is meant to bear that weight other than God.

We need to rely upon God in our times of weakness and temptations. Man cannot overcome this with his own 'self-control.' Remember this is why Christ died for our sins.

Hello Jd Greear, I'm really happy I found your church. Usually I watch your videos alone and when I meet in the fellowship. I was wondering, is there any way the summit church allow these videos have Spanish subtitles, I can understand everything but my mom, who lives in Chile would like to watch your preachings, trouble is that she cannot understand English so well. Would you mind to help me out?? God bless you 🙏👍🏼👍🏼

Seek our Father and his understanding. Ask that his Wisdom lead us in his path of righteousness. Pray that our flight will not come in winter or on the sabbath. Ask the Father if his teachings were spoken through Jesus. Knock bless you Father for blessing us with your Son and name Jesus. Anyone who seeks will find understanding. Anyone who asks will be given Wisdom. Anyone who prays the plank will be taken from there eyes. Anyone who asks will find eternal life. Anyone who knocks the door will be open in the name Jesus. No one can come to the Father but by Jesus and no one can come to Jesus unless the Father enables him. That is why Jesus said no one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him and I will raise him up on the last day.

PARENTS NEED TO KNOW ONE THING ABOUT ANY THERAPY PROMISING TO CHANGE THEIR GAY KID TO STRAIGHT: THERE IS ZERO CHANCE OF SUCCESS, BUT THERE IS A CHANCE YOUR CHILD WILL BE MOLESTED. This field draws men who want to be alone with a gay teen to discuss his sexual desires. Some of the arrests for molestation were in the "therapy" office.

Cut all the formalities and all the vain ados, & get straight to the message, are you serving God or man? Annoys me when I see speakers like this who obviously take pleasure in their good standing before man and the "church" organization.

Seems as if greer will be the one who breaks the conservative nature of the sbc … disappointing … hope he will consider the nature of compromise through the absolutes of scripture … but this is doubtful … perhaps because of greed or pride the sbc stands at edge of falling into miserable compromise like the united Methodist and united c of c … VERY SAD !!!!
