The 3.0L sounds very smooth and I think it works well with the Everest as you expect an SUV to be like this. The 2.0L can be a little too loud for the Everest but amazing for the Ranger

The new 5 is great yoh, can't believe you are considering this and the 5 but it goes to show how far Ford has come to make this feel premium. The 5 though, I don't like the rear otherwise, what a beautiful car that is👌🏾

Yoh my brother. This thing is beyond refined compared to the 2.0L, I feel that the 3.0L Ranger may be a little too quite for a bakkie but in here it fits so perfectly, the 2.0L Everest is a little heavy honestly.🤔

hi bro, do we need ceramic coating on the car or is it worth it ? did you get one ? please let me know. 2nd question is - should we buy wiht the AT tyres or the regular 20 inch tyres on platinum if I buy one ?

How’s the fuel consumption on the v6? Especially compared to the Bi-turbo 2litre, is the difference more than 30%?
@sebuwam4 ай бұрын
Well, we talk around 13L/100 and 2.0L does around 11-12L to the 100km

We don't get Titanium in South Africa, our top spec 2.0L BiT is the Everest Sport (You can find it on the channel as well, scrolling down, reviewed it in 2023).

amazing review but eish i would have loved to see the 4 liter v8 from the Raptor but yes solid vehicle and a bit of consumer confusion because this does both the bakkie { the ranger and the SUV life }

V8? You're really pushing your luck man.. Even F-150 raptors were downsized to 3.5L Turbocharged V6

@@nomondedondolo4578 gone are those days tsa di V8.. To think they can slot it in a bakkie is just farfetched, especially for our local market
@sebuwam5 ай бұрын
I think the V8 in SA has never really been a good one for a "mass market" seller like Ford. Considering that it will be targeted at a selected few, Ford produces high volumes and the Raptor can easily sell the same numbers as the Wildtrak with the current pricing. As much many people buy these things, not many can afford the fuel consumption that comes with the V6 petrol, imagine the V8 yoh. I think this is good for big famalies but the versatility of the Ranger is something else compared to the SUV.
