SEC-E9 honest 3 years in use review

Have you upgraded to a different machine yet? I bought it for cutting keys by code, and maybe auto if I get into that. The measurements are off on the kw1 key, which is the most common house key in America. Hard to believe it cuts every auto key correctly if they can't get kw1 keys right. What do you think?

It's my main machine for Automotive Key cutting and I cut with it hundreds of keys. For single sided keys I use HPC Blizz 1200

@@stasolocksmith Why wouldn't you use the SEC-E9 for single sided? Thanks for responding btw.

I do not have the clamp for the single sided keys, I use SEC-E9 only for Automotive dimple keys and barrel keys. I have a machine from HPC that I do all the small keys like RV, Boat and single sided keys. That machine is manual but very precise I used it in the beginning when I just started the business and didn't do all Automotive keys. Today I use only SEC-E9, the day it will stop working I'll probably will replace it with the Xhorse one.

@@richardb8104- for me the I don’t usually originate house keys with this machine because it cuts them like a laser cut key. Very ugly. Duplicating residential keys it will cut them with the ridges. Also who wants to waste the cutter on house keys. It will decide double sided keys properly if the keys aren’t worn out. No different than any other machine. I’ve had mine for 4 years now. No issues

You go to settings conect it to wifi and then update
