Why didn't you just program another key and take the remote back with you and remove the roll pin and put a new blade in? I've been programing the remotes before I cut the remote headed key that way I don't have an inventory lose on the job.

I have to ask a question. I have 2015 passat and locksmith did findout problem on last coding phase new key. So i buy 2 used keys I did ask fron dealer is possible to code these they say yes. Today found out even dealer cant program spare keys to my car. Their solution buy new from them. Have you ended up these kinda problems on 2015 passat.

I'm watching this while sitting in my work truck in DC. The industry here is not good. I've been sitting for 4 hours had 5 techs cancel. I called 3 companies and had 5 people call me back and not one of them worked for the companies I called. You are probably just starting, but as a professional locksmith, you shouldn't show your customer license plate, vin number, and key cuts on the same video. A lot of thieves have the same equipment as yours and can easily steal this vehicle. Regarding your flip key remote, consider labeling everything you have, or get some Xhorse products

FO38 would be hard in my opinion because it’s ugly to decode. Hon66 is takes a little longer to pick but is way easier to decode.
