Cory, just curious. Have you noticed how crooked you carry your pack? Is there a reason?
@SecondChanceHiker5 жыл бұрын
chadbrow I believe it’s me falling a lot I really messed it up. We have played with it multiple times. It’s annoying. I really want a new pack as this one is really to small for my frame. I contacted Granitegear who makes my pack to see if they have solutions.

chadbrow while on the PCT last year, for 20 miles, my pack was crooked too. I'm not sure why but it was more comfortable that way. I think I need a new backpack. This one isn't right for me.

SCH made it BTW!!!! I am now a fan as well. I discovered Cory by following Mary Mansfield's hike as she was at Walkers Pass then onto Kennedy Meadows ( all my back yard growing up in Ridgecrest) thats when Cory came into the picture. ( no pun intended!) Then I started watching Sara Dhooma, and a few more. Kinda made me homesick but I guess 30 years in the Desert and 33 years in NW Montana......I'll stay here thank you!! But now Panda I'll have to watch your hike as well. I remember folks talking about your trail name..... Thanks man!

Panda, found your channel because I am following Second Chance and followed his link. I follow many hiker vlogs and especially PCT hikers. I must say your footage and video editing is some of the best I have ever seen. I love how you tie in the hikers you meet and interview them. This is truly original. Your finished product is documentary worthy. I will be following your journey and hope your channel explodes the way Cory's did.

I followed "Second Chance" on my other account. I think that he was successful even though he did not loose 200lbs and did not make it to the northern terminus on a real thru hike. He did an amazing job and I find him inspirational. He did however find happiness and fell in love. Success! Thanks Panda. Another cool video.

Cory did very well! He did make it to the monument but he didn’t do the entire route! His injury in Oregon was one of the things that prevented a total through hike and he started pink blazing.

Hey panda! Just watched your first 3 videos! Your cinematography and your feel of your video being like a documentary. You're so good at making film. My husband and I just learned about the PCT last year through KZbin. We're Californians we've been here our whole lives. We watched a young lady post her KZbin videos from Mexico to Canada last year. So this year we started watching about a half a dozen people who are youtubing their Journey. Just found you panda. And I want to tell you honestly your quality of your film about your adventure is outstanding. Your style is so clean and accurate. The feeling of it being a documentary but yet a feeling of closeness you have to this trail is overwhelmingly beautiful. So very proud of you. Well my husband I will definitely be watching the rest of your journey! We actually had fun a couple weekends ago and drove down to Julian helped out his Trail angels for the day and handed out warm hand warmers to the lady hikers for their Journey. So we are wishing you all the best and we really look forward to your next videos. Take care be safe and make good decisions. Shelley and Hugo

Why is this the first time this video has popped up for me? So many topics covered in this one that I think it will make my short "intro to hiking" share list to pass on to others. Quality video, excellent editing, background music pleasant (in contrast to many that are obnoxious). Audio that I can actually hear outside at less than max volume 👍👍👍. I did chunk of PCT in late 2018 and hit it hard in 2019 same as 2C. We met 3 times that year and we are still both hiking two years later. This last November he was hiking Croatia and I was freezing in The Enchantments of Central Washington. Corey said it well. It doesn't matter where you come from - on trail it only matters that you're out there. Semper Gumby still hikin'
