When Andy and Seth make eye contact and get the giggles was the best part... Andy never breaks though.. The only time I've ever seen him break was dueing the scared straight sketch with sufeikis and hader.. Lol
@userman446 жыл бұрын
It's hard to find a sketch where Andy breaks because 95% of his stuff on SNL was Digital Shorts, which are pre-taped.
@tigress1girl Жыл бұрын
there is also that one time he broke when a male comedian harrassed him. A really gross, non funny sketch. Really uncomfortable to watch. Andy did right by breaking character although the pear presure.

This sketch is maybe one punchline away from working. I mean, hack thought, just a simple table turn of having another character ask him to come with (or saying yes) and him reacting with disgust/confusion, or having him break down and reveal why he can't go alone, would be the scene going somewhere, albeit perhaps not anywhere all that original. As it is, it just kind of a broken record.

@RagenRibbonz8 жыл бұрын
Yes. Andy did a Conan interview in 2013 and said the sketch made it all the way to dress rehearsal before being cut. Presumably, this was 32x04 10/28/06 when Hugh Laurie hosted and performed a sketch singing a Dylan-parody protest song.
