Honestly, aside from being among the best (if not THE best) climbers in the world, the content being produced on this channel is simply exquisite. The alien-level climbing helps, but it's the format that really cements it as THE best climbing content online. Minimal editing on the sends, super high quality footage, deep insight into the challenges from Adam himself, context around the crag / climb, supporting graphics that present just the right information. It's just Adam Ondra and his team, and then everyone else behind him.

Every climbing channel I go on, there’s a gumby claiming it’s the “best content anywhere”! They are either just blowing smoke up the creator’s a$$ or they are not watching Adam’s channel. It’s top quality climbing, A+ narration, and professional videography! I concur.

As a musician/composer it was also interesting to see large parts of the video unscored (without background music). It actually made it really intense and 'real'. I also feel like a lot of climbing YT channels have no fucking clue about music and they just scrape music licensing sites with whatever is free. It really ruins the videos for me if the music is badly chosen. It can bring things to life for sure but it can also ruin an intimate moment. And choosing not to have any music on a send like this might just be the right choice. It felt real. Like I was there. Great work on that!

You're not just a climber; you're a story teller, creator, and producer. You're an artist in your own way. You don't just give us great climbing content. I'm pretty sure that one piece of rock is by far the hardest in the world at this point. In addition to the 9b+ and 9a, right below them on the exact same wall are several extremely hard boulders: Terranova (8C+), Drift (8C), Pata Ledovce (8C) and Kráter (8C). Plus the cave to the right (visible at 5:55) is home to Vrtule (8C/+).

Finally someone talking about it!! Doing the crux of a route as interval training is such an underestimated technique! Helps you with: - confidence (your brain records that you are able to do the move rather than being the point with strongest link with failure) - specific power endurance (that you will need for the crux) - getting into the mental state of squeezing hard when you are pumped (lot of people give up much sooner that they can stand!)

I got in to watch rock climbing because of Magnus, but your videos are just so beautiful and tell such an amazing story. Your videos are like a journey you have gone on, and we are there along the way. I would love to see in future videos where it is a multi month or year journey like this to see a day or two of training you did specifically for the problem of the story. As an example, a problem you designed in your home gym or on a kilter board that you designed specifically to help with the route crux you are training for :).

To be honest, in my hometown in France there are incredible limestone crags, some of them have routes (I think the hardest is like 8a+ or something like that) but there are so many that have potential and are still unclimbed. it would be great to have climbers like Adam open very hard routes over there, there is so much potential and it would give a big boost to the local climbing community. besides the weather is good, sunny and dry, even in winter. it is near the city of Narbonne in France, on a small massif called La Clape.
