A perfectly cut, steep and exposed line in the vicinity of Arco, with perfect blue and grey limestone and impeccable tufas, has attracted me since I first noticed it. In 2012, I could bolt the last great line to the right of the wall.
A series of 3 beautiful tufa features, with just enough holds in between them. But once the last tufa finishes, it remained a mystery. I bolted it, but I could not really think of any sequence to make that section climbable.
I abandoned the project, and 10 years later, I was back to see if something had changed. With a new perspective and experience, I could finally see a way how to pass through this section while I got also distracted by a bit easier variation, which turned out to be not easy at all.
Watch the story of Bomba 9b, and it's a slightly easier variation of Bombardino 9a+/ 9b in the new video! Featuring also Jakob Schubert, Pietro del Pra and Alfredo Webber. It was a great process of spending there great days with my friends, bolting together, being motivated to deal with often freezing conditions, and sharing the beta. Big thanks go to everybody who was part of the process!
What do you think of the new cinematic movie? Do you see any more lines in Hotel Olivo crag?

@@user-qn9ku2fl2b im pretty sure hes like the only person to consistently climb 8c's and higher lol guy is truly on a different level of consistency. Im not super knowledgeable but, I have seen alot of people comment the same about his record of higher difficulty climbs just far above anyone else. Not to say there are climbers just as skilled, or even stronger in other aspects, but just his training is above others i feel.. I think it plays to the part where he grew up the rock is slippery/smooth and he got used to hard climbing as a child , never left it. Its apart of him now

side note* i wish the olympics would do 3 seperate categories to show case the skills of climbers. Adam would probably have much more fun at the olypmics. But its true how happy and in his element he seems outside just so balanced mentally and joyous. Oh, how i strive to be like that with anything in my life,.

How can you quantify how good of produciton this is? These climbing videos are so well edited, put together, executed. I know absolutely nothing about climbing but Iafter watching you for a month I have applied this kinda of ethic into other avenues in my life, instead of just giving up. The way Adam shows the entire process of developing the climb really cements it into reality for me. As someone new to climbing I find myself getting discouraged on climbs just barely out of my comfort zone, but watching how Adam can bolt a route and only complete it 10 years later really puts into perspective how much you have to persevere to achieve your goals.
