Believe it or not it's only my Second Time at Spoons! Velvet Coaster Friday Food Review in Blackpool this week - and the first time I've ever been in here too! (At least making food reviews has pushed me out of my comfort zone!!) This branch of Wetherspoon's is at Blackpool's south shore, one of the places to eat near Central Pier and the Pleasure Beach.

Looked lovely. My Son is a Spoons fan. Is always in their pubs! Burger King is so expensive I find. By the way, I went to the new Wilkos that opened yesterday in Rotherham Parkgate. It's good to have them back.

PROBABLY THE BEST OF THE THREE WETHERSPOON IN BLACKPOOL, THE ONE IN CLEVELEYS IS RECOMMENDED AS WELL AS THE ONE IN FLEETWOOD.

It's a business at the end of the day, Rent and Rates play a part. McDonalds at Blackburn with Darwen services on the M65 is dearer than Ewood Park and King William St in Blackburn yet they're run by the same franchisee.

Typical 'spoons hater? Any cafe/restaurant with more than three items on their menu will use microwaves/steam ovens alongside a griddle plate and other cooking appliances to cook/reheat pre-prepared food. They just wouldn't survive if they sourced and cooked everything fresh/raw. They'd be out of business in a breath.
