State 1 (P1, V1, T1, n1) to State 2 (P2, V2, T2, n2). The gas law constant R is not used during this calculation so the units of pressure and volume can be variable. However, the temperature still need to be in Kelvin. The calculation an be simplified if any of the variables are held constant during the change. A sample problem is discussed in this video.
