👋 Hello from the USA. I wanted to say thank you for sharing this inspiring story. All the success and failures you have had but still kept going on and produced a beautiful flower garden. I have to say that you must be the hardest working gardener I have ever seen! You are amazing and I hope you share more videos like this one! Excellent work!

Hello from the high desert of Southern California in the USA. I'm so jealous of your flower fields. I can only dream and it's so beautiful. I live in a very harsh environment with extreme heat summers and snowy cold winters so I'm limited. I love watching your videos.

Can you please post more often, every two weeks please. Your farm looks amazing! Please show walk through of the fields throughout the season. How you prepare the land. What plants you are growing this year. The different methods you are using to grow the seeds, i.e. compost mix, direct sowing, use of heat, nicking the seed with scissors or sand paper. Have you ever thought about a ‘you pick’ farm? Customers come to you. You will make more money on the tea and coffee than the flowers. You have one of the best looking farm set up that I have seen. Keep up the great work!

Beautiful, and so much work!! You did a wonderful job! I am so sorry about the rain, it was very bad last summer, with no water at first and then rain all the time. Up here in Estonia, we also had wind. Is the wind a problem for you? How did the zinnia flowers manage the rain? They look gorgeous!

I also really like flowers and growing flowers. The feeling of planting, caring for and waiting for the first flower buds to bloom is magical. I feel very happy when I can create flowers filled with color. After a busy day and seeing your flower garden bloom, what could be better, right?

Your kind words warms me up in this January coldness. Your snapdragons looks so good. May I ask where do you get your snap seeds? I source my seeds mainly from Muller and Vreekens in NL. Sure I also save seeds..
@LazyCrazyCows Жыл бұрын
I order seeds from Muller- top quality. Also here in Latvia we have Onava and Agrimatco Latvia. Those are top places from where I order seeds. I didn't know about Vreekens, this is good information, thank you.@@juha7830
@juha7830 Жыл бұрын
Yes Vreekens prices are more reasonable. Thank you for these names of your local suppliers. We still have time to order more seeds. I will start already lisianthus and eucalyptus this month. Snaps in february. Hope we have mild spring so we can start early in the polytunnel/hoophouse. I sell 80 % to florists and 20 % in farmers market in Tampere region. How about you?
@LazyCrazyCows Жыл бұрын
I sell around 50/50 florists and local market. Biggest challenge is managing everything, full time work and then flower farm as a experimental hobby. Picking, selling, finding customers in the same time take all my energy in peak season... probably need to find some helping hands and grow bigger. Time will show :) And still my '' bread work" are in school as in full time teacher.@@juha7830

Could you do a a video on how much you were able to make in profits? What flowers produced the greatest revenue? And a hourly rate for how much you'd be making based on the number of hours you worked?

Again, you may want to look up some gardening info. "Best-Kept Secret To Soil Fertility In The Market Garden | Ramial Chipped Wood" you have a lot of land and simply planting some trees and chipping them might yeild less effort filled results. With better long term return on time investment.
