when you guys were talking about kids I don't have kids but I'm a nineteen year old in a Muslim household and have two older siblings and my mom. I still feel lonely. I think is because we don't talk that much I was promised myself that when I leave this house and finish School I will have a big family and ever treat them the way my family treats me is a blessing to have a family that loves and care about you also love your videos you guys always make me laugh and brighten my day 💕

I'm not Muslim or British, but more and more, I'm not interested in having kids. If something happens at a certain point, I won't freak out, but I don't think that's something I want to pursue anymore. For me, I want to be the Go-To Auntie. I am passionate about my work and want to be able to commit to making the world a better place on a systemic level. That gets me up in the morning, you know? Not wanting kids isn't inherently selfish. Wanting kids isn't inherently selfish, but as someone raised Christian, I've seen the conversation happening more and more around, "do I want kids or has that just been something everyone treated as an automatic part of my future to the point where I don't think of it as an 'if' but as a 'when'?" I love seeing a similar conversation happening among Muslim women, too. For those who realize they (1) don't want children (2) really aren't suited for motherhood, it can save them so much guilt and pain, as well as their hypothetical children
