This is great news as long as the cashout fees are not increased. If cashout fees are increased it's terrible news and no "tradeoff" will help make up for it.

You raise a good point. LL will lose control over this which perhaps isn't a good thing and could have implications. Let's hope for the best!

Thank you for this video. The explanations by Oberwolf are 100% in line with what was said ~2 years ago in various other videos (about what the plans for Tilia were, and how resources are shared between both Tilia and SL.)

Thank you so much for a great Lab Gab, Strawberry and Oberwolf, thank you for your devotion to our virtual future in Second Life. Your explanations answered all the questions and concerns I had about the sale of Tilia. Your honesty, devotion and moral responsibility assures me my/our virtual future is in hands which care firstly about all of us and the importance of our virtual existence and then everything else about how to make that happen. We trust you will look after us. 🗽

thank you, i was worried about the ability to cash out. I am glad that you care about Second Life so much. Tilia has been wonderful. And I am excited about the mobile apps. I feel like our virtual lives are in the hands of someone who cares about us.

TBH I thought that the meetings were open anyway. Oops. But I'm looking forward to the Community Round Table and know a lot of people/communities who would be valuable contributors to the discussion. The issues facing the future of SL have global resonance, so opening discussion up to everyone is as important as ever. And I'm glad we're getting an official mobile app. It would be amazing if it were ready in time for the May 20th meeting, in order to reach an even wider audience with official support. So curious about the future of SL and it's untapped potential. Even after all these years, it still remains expandable and consistently grows with time.

Thank you for this explanation! As long as cashout fees & linden purchase amounts are not raised i don't see a problem.

As a Canadian member of SL who only purchases Linden$, I am wondering if there will be any benefit to non-US citizens when it comes to the exchange rate. Right now I am hit with not only the regular exchange rate from Canadian to US dollars, but then the fee that Tillia charges. It's all very expensive.

Can we have self hosted sims/estates?
@lemagreengreen6 ай бұрын
Or on-demand sims at a lower price. Some people would like a sim that isn't necessarily always running, the instance could be spun up on demand on a schedule or on entry and come at a lower cost.

Wouldn't that be nice 😅

In what country is Thunes based in? I know they have offices around the world, but where is the HQ?

The first address that pops up when you just search "Thunes" in Google, is Singapore; so we can assume there.
