@firaasahmed1636 Well personally, I think it would be interesting because Lewis has the size & power over Usyk and Lewis was very adaptable but Usyk is so methodical & relentless so I think they would of had a trilogy in their prime, hard to say which one takes the 3rd between them. I'd probably lean Lewis taking it in his prime only because I've seen alot more of him, might change my mind in a couple of years.
@basicalen6122

@@oldenyz3148 I personally would lean towards Usyk because he had more amateur fights, has better fundamentals overall than Lewis, and would exhaust Lewis quickly because Lewis would have hard time landing on Usyk. @kwuae118
@kwuae118 3 күн бұрын
The hard truth is that Usyk was the superior technical fighter. He was a genius when it came to movement and is arguably the greatest of this generation. He remained unshaken like a rock amidst the media frenzy, which, as we now know, many got wrong - including some former champions who mistakenly believed that aggression equals power. I am confident that he will go down in history as one of the greatest of all (if not the greatest), proving that size, weight, and talk don't matter, but technique, focus, and consistency do. Many congratulations to Usyk for this masterclass and the way he conducts himself with grace and professionalism. This is an object lesson for all future boxers out there.

Usyk has certainly made a strong case for being considered among the top heavyweights in history, but whether he cracks the top 20 all-time is still up for debate. His skillset, footwork, and technical ability are exceptional, and his success at cruiserweight before stepping up to dominate at heavyweight is impressive. However, the heavyweight division today isn't as deep or competitive as it was in past eras.

It was a real war and to be honest a fight that should never have happened considering how dominant he was in the second fight. Should have fought Joshua to unify the belts and become undisputed. They really missed an opportunity to make that fight when they were at the peak of their powers. Fury would have probably won that and been in better shape to fight Uysk. Ray Mercer (a smaller guy than Usyk) was beating up a prime Lewis lol...That jab...jab...right...doesn't work against a slick southpaw like Usyk who has great foot/head movement, great chin, great punch accuracy, great speed, great stamina, great defense, clutch in the later rounds. Lewis got knocked out by bums like McCall and Rahman, got sparked real good by other bad/mediocre fighters. Lewis is very overrated in boxing circles...

Mercer is the same height as Usyk and 15-20lbs heavier. Ok, Lewis got caught a couple of times and then went back and beat the crap out of both those dudes to prove they got lucky. Lewis would probably have a trilogy in his prime against Usyk and win 2 of them in his prime because of his adaptability. The only reason Usyk would win 1 is because he is relentless and very skilled but in no way has he faced anyone like Lewis yet.
@sj4632

@ No he’a not the same height. Mercer is 6 foot 1 and chubby and he was beating the hell out of Lewis. Go look at Lennox’s face after the fight lol… A prime Usyk would beat Lewis, no question for me. Usyk would’ve never lost to McCall or Rahman. You can’t get lucky against him. Usyk never has an off-night. He would outbox Lewis, with superior foot movement, speed and agility, better stamina, punch accuracy. He would run circles around him, 100%.

On June 21, 2003, at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, a heavyweight boxing match took place between Lennox Lewis and Vitali Klitschko, known as the "Battle of the Titans." Originally, Lewis was scheduled to fight Kirk Johnson, but due to Johnson's injury, Klitschko stepped in on short notice. Despite the limited preparation time, Klitschko started strong, leading on all judges' scorecards after six rounds with a score of 58-56. However, in the third round, Lewis landed a punch that caused a severe cut above Klitschko's left eye. After the sixth round, the ringside doctor recommended stopping the fight due to the severity of the cut, resulting in a technical knockout victory for Lewis. Following the bout, there was significant public demand for a rematch. Although initial discussions took place, Lewis ultimately decided to retire from boxing, and the rematch never occurred. This fight was the last in Lewis's professional career and marked Klitschko's final defeat. It would be interesting to see such a rematch for boxing fans.

I'll get to bust up the other side of your face," while laughing with others. However, when he received an offer, he chickened out and retired. Vitali would have knocked him out for sure. You could see anger in Vitali's face after he knocked Kirk Johnson out, and he callled Lewis out that night too. Lewis has no place to talk when talking about Vitali Klitschko.

I think people didnt really see what Fury was doing. He would go after Usyk then immediately defend against the big straight left of Usyk. Everytime Fury would throw punches , his head would be left exposed and he wouldve closed the distance leaving him open to a big left hand. So fury was resorting to flurries then pulling back.... i thought that was a solid gameplan. Otherwise it wouldve been round 9 all over again. He came close and fought well.
