@@zsmith4853 That would be your job to look for the facts. It's extremely rare for one to change another's beliefs. Knowledge is best learned by ones own experiences, studies, research, and years of reading. Unfortunately, most people have a 5 min attention span and typically base their beliefs on feelings or by listing to someone else who only says things that make one feel good, or confirm ones bias. The underlying problem is that truth hurts and its not always what we want to hear. Truth makes one feel uncomfortable because truth doesn't care about feelings or ones beliefs. Finally, an online chat room is not the proper forum to have an in depth discussion. The amount of information needed to prove my point would take months to explain to you. Information I've studied over 10 years to come to my conclusions. This is not to say I know everything, in fact, the more I learn the more I realize how little I know. The things in our world are very complex and simple answers to said problems are not possible. So, good luck on your journey my friend.

It was just as much, if not less violent of a protest. Than most blm riots and or autonomous zone demonstrations. They didn't "hold down the fort", so to speak. They disband and left right there after. Not to mention they most certainly were enabled. Similar to 9/11 there wasn't proper use of foresight and sheer inaction. Despite prior knowledge of the upcoming circumstances. We just watch what government does where it basically pulls a judo move. They redirect the energy of a situation into into their desired direction/ focus.

Yes, let the people fight over things that don't matter, while the politicians pass laws to line their pockets with corporate money.
@michaelcaprio3113 жыл бұрын
That’s their ultimate plan, so We never fix our government and continue making the same decisions/fighting with each other never uniting against the political establishment ending how much power corporations have and corruption; We continue believing that our system of government can’t be fixed which isn’t true We The American People need too get our heads out of our asses and pay attention too what our politicians and government are doing. The American Anti Corruption Act would be a great place too start fixing our broken government learn more at RepresentUs’s KZbin channel and save our American Constitutional Democratic Republic (also American Democracy, yes the United States is a Republic but still it’s all about American Democracy, Liberty, Freedom but the center being We The People of The United States of America). I feel also history’s repeating being the red scare ~ (like HUAC falsely labeling and identifying so called Communists which while doing so hurt Democracy, Freedom of Speech/expression/thought, Liberty destroying people’s lives and careers and yes I may not like Communism or Fascism or Socialism but my fellow Americans have every right too be or believe them, and because of freedom of speech We know why there bad because of there said practices and beliefs like hate groups) ~ increasing the proposal of more unConstitutional laws limiting freedom of speech while also limiting the ability too question our government kinda sounds Nazi like and “assault rifle” was said by Adolf Hitler himself too promote anti gun legislation in Germany ultimately taking away the people of Germany’s only way too fight against tyranny and a fascist state that goes against the people, so the term “assualt rifles” was again originally came up by Adolf Hitler himself too take away guns. No I’m not anti U.S. government but when the government wants too limit our rights and quell free speech and if you can or cannot own guns it gets pretty sketchy and worrisome too me and should be too all Americans. The point of my comment is really about due too the promotion of “race/racism,” “identity politics,” “political correctness,” the stupid “left vs. right fight” which where on the same team being team USA, we’re too distracted seeing how much power and how much influence corporations/ the rich have in our government increasing the prevalence of corruption in our government which is supposed too work for We The American People, and the decline of government accountability and not caring for its own people (which it doesn’t despite how wrong I sound it’s a sad truth) so how do We fix our broken government well again by paying attention too what our politicians and government is doing and again The American Anti Corruption Act or at least limitation of money or getting rid of money all together in politics because money is all our government cares about now at least the most which results in corruption and corruption is weakening the bedrock of our Republic, corruption being cancer. Yes very long comment but it’s just what I think and you couldn’t be more right Chris g it’s time We The American People have say in our own government again also yes times are rough times are going too get worse before they get better BUT I think our country and We The American People will prevail and get through this thing but one things for sure We The American People will not forget 2020 or 2021 and years that our government has failed us so let’s not look and say it’s impossible there are solutions but We must believe there is a way in fixing our broken government then the real work can begin being serving and fixing the problems that so desperately need too be fixed in our country but yeah have a good day or week or month or year your reading this.

The majority of the coverage is PRO Wallstreet, although Wallstreet is the problem here, not the WSB crowd. They completely twist the facts and gloss over the illegal methods the hedge funds used to try to destroy Gamestop and with it thousands of jobs. Just as they have done to hundreds of struggling American companies before. And you can see how this whole story is presented to the public, completely twisted. The perpetrators are made victims and victims are made perpetrators. Because the media belongs to the 1% and the media makes opinions.The result is a population whose basic attitude is shaped by the Bible and lifelong 24/7 propaganda. What do you expect?

@@Dhumm81 I read Turning Point USA, by itself, organized 80 bus loads. There were definitely wealthier people in the crowd, as pointed out in the video, but I don't know to what extent we can generalize about the overall composition, ITO economic standing. How many were there? 8,000 outside? A few hundred inside? The woman who was killed was a veteran and a small business owner with her husband. They cleaned pools. They had to have been hit economically by the pandemic. The man who threw a fire extinguisher that ricocheted off 3 Capitol Police (this was separate from the incident in which Sicknick was killed) - he was a retired fire fighter from Pennsylvania. When the Tea Party held protests,, they were funded by the insurance companies. I heard of at least one case where their company told them to attend. There's reportedly dark slushy GOP money in this one too.

You make a solid point here toward the end. For the longest time I thought the Democratic party was just incompetent, unable to get the policies they claimed to want passed, but you're right. Both parties have they same goals, and they feed off each other; the GOP needs the Democrats to rally against, and the Democrats need the GOP as cover for why they can't seem to enact any actual leftist policy. As a German, I thank you for your effort. Tbh though, I gotta say that I have no hopes for serious reform in the US. All my hopes relied on Bernie as an independent.. I feel for both republicans and democratic voters because they have no other choice than to swallow big corporate. I thought our EU parliament was slow and cumbersome but at least they managed to enable policies that allow for a stricter control on rampant lobbyism. We also haven't got there and we have similar problems but I feel like we're on the way out. The thing that worries me the most as a European is that a lot of right wing rethoric is intentionally sowed in Europe. Bannon set us back about 10 years regarding rhetoric and fanaticism. He unified right wing factions in our parliament and integrated US lobbyist even into the German conservative party. I hear a lot of American talking points being parroted in Europe which is ironic because they project the failures of the US onto our own system which functions vastly different. It's sad and makes me frustrated as I saw the US as allies and friends. I still do but only for the people living there, the US political system can eat a D***. A texan friend owns a textile flag company and he said that one of the biggest orders coming in from month to month is SS iconography and sentences like work makes you free (this phrase comes from the concentration camp in ausschwitz BTW. ) He recently should make an arm badge that was ordered and it was a literal Totenkopf SS badge. (Skull SS, they are infamous for guarding concentration camps and eradicating "inferior people". F.e. they smashed babies against trees to save ammo and considered shooting mothers first as an act of mercy so she doesn't have to see her child being killed. That is what these guys romanticise about and as a german I want to punch anyone who uses our darkest past to legitimise their scewed political ideology. It's gross and despicable. My grandma was killed in a camp in Dachau which makes it even harder to see and notice this from a German standpoint.
