Jim I love this advice. I also vocalize, sing and recite Shakespeare while running and I think it makes a world of difference. I wonder how many other people do this.

That's awesome! Only people that really want to improve their voice to great levels are dedicated enough to do this, because once you try it, you realize, it aint easy! 😝

But if you start easy and stick with it, you eventually build a much stronger connection between your breath and your body and eventually you learn to pace yourself and conserve your air. You learn that you don't need as much breath as you thought and it does get easier over time. Your entire body breathes. It's not the easiest thing to describe but it's very satisfying when you feel the shift.

Well, if you're only 15 don't stress if your voice sounds 'younger'.... mine sounded VERY different when I was 15, so voices change over time. Work with what you have and make the most of whatever your voice sounds like now - and TRUST that you are right where you need to be.... EVERY voice is different, so be proud of your voice the way it sounds (it's good to stand out and sound different - it's what made NIRVANA (and every other great band!) stand out when they blew up the scene in 1991)...
