A beautifully restored cabin available to stay in for free on a first-come, first-served basis! This cabin is lovingly maintained by a group of volunteers who ask that the location not be shared on social media...which is probably why it's such great condition!

The dead who once lived life in the desert and bore their suffering with patience, but the "clock of life" [depending on how tight the spring was wound] stopped, for it is wound but once, and no one has the power to tell, just when the hands will stop at a late or early hour, and their spirit took its flight from the old abandoned desert cabin but you can be assured that it will return some night when there are only whispering sounds in a starlight night at the midnight hour, sharp!

I was there last week. It's incredible now. A beautiful bunk bed was set up. That being said - unfortunately, some people decided to use the place as target practice. I don't understand why target practice is a good idea on the cabin and surrounding structures. A Veteran built this cabin and now volunteers upkeep it.

That is called Riley's Camp; been there many times. There is a really cool campsite at the end of the road. Did you see his grave right along the trail? I might be going on Labor Day weekend.

You're quite the little explorer, very cool. I lived in Vegas for 4 years and Reno for 4. I was in the Air Force while living in Vegas and went to Area 51 twice. Although the stark terrain of NV isn't my favorite, I'll have to admit it does have some cool places to explore, however if I was doing so as an attractive girl alone as you appear to be, I'd be packing, if you know what I mean. I wish this person would practice the same "location non-disclosure" ethic on her hot spring videos because once a location of a "secret" place is known and shown on social media, the solitude gone forever. I work in a large wilderness park and have seen this happen time and time again... One day a secluded beautiful location, next week trash and graffiti...
@Wonderhussy
@Wonderhussy 8 жыл бұрын
I am torn on this issue. On one hand, I agree with you and of course I'd like to keep the locations (which I myself find online/ on social media) to myself.......but then I remember how I MYSELF found these locations online...and WITHOUT FAIL, I have ended up picking up trash there and leaving them better than I'd found them. All of which makes me think that WHOMEVER has already been using these "secret" locations is doing a piss-poor job, and some of us newbies are actually coming in and IMPROVING things. So....who's to say that the people who come to these places via my videos won't be BETTER stewards of the land than the people already going there? I don't mean to be contentious....this is a serious issue I've been pondering!
