Greetings from Kuwait. That was a wonderful experience. I used to live on Dominica for 5 years in the 1970s and did most of the river and waterfall hikes … but Wavine Cyrique Falls was not on the radar then. Ok I just watched again the first time from the Patreon Viewing, and it is a riot I love this excursion by the two of you. Some of the comments first coming down the hillside. "Well you have to hold onto something" , "just be carefull, Hold on tight, watch were your stepping, make sure you have a good grip, everytime you grab it" everything Billy was saying however what was going through his mind was her mother will kill me if she gets hurt. Hey Billy, When you first mentioned the GoPro you had a ghost, after a little bit it seemed to go away then the colors looked a little over saturated, the sound was fair. Enough for the critique, That first waterfall and the journey to reach it was amazing. Not quite sure my knees would have been up for that trip, 18 years of ice hockey has taken a toll on them, but thank you for taking us along with you the view was spectacular. Stay safe y'all.

At 78 with one bad knee I am not climbing down or up that ladder; but at your ages I would have for sure. There were a few spots that looked very treacherous going down. We didn't get to see the climb back up The Emerald Pool would be more my speed at my age. ⛵⛵⛵⛵⛵

If you get a chance try the waterfall you get to by starting at the town of Bense. Nice hike, cross a couple streams, and small waterfall, but great jumping into pool at base.

I missed that waterfall, but since being to Dominica 5 years ago it is on the top of my list to return!!! I loved it there!!! The ecosystem is amazing! I live for adventures and hikes like that! You are correct, in North America, you wouldn't be able to have something like that. Keep up the awesome adventures and maybe oneday I will bump into you on the water

Cool place and for fun you might find a rare version of the Fer-de-Lance or Lancehead They are mostly found on Martinique. No worries it’s part of the fun. It’s best to stick a foot or hand into cracks and crevices on cliffs if you really want to find one. They are supposed to be rare. They have relatives on a some other islands near there and even on a island off the coast of Brazil called the golden lance-head. I hear the Golden Lance-head owns its own island and people are even banned there. They have a unmanned lighthouse you can hike to if you want more adventure!
