Thank you for this, though nothing 'secret' nor 'hidden'. These days even the Stockbridge/Water of Leith/Dean Village area is on the vlogger radar. Still, it is nice to see another visitor to Edinburgh loving the city and sharing it with other, some of whom will possibly be seeing it for the first time thanks to your videos. Next time you visit I suggest you try some of the residential streets including those of villages including Bruntsfield and Morningside (go also into the Hermitage of Braid and up Blackford Hill for great views over the city from the south side). Portobello and Joppa, side by side along the beachfront on the Firth of Firth contain streets worth walking, while Crammond, which is further along the shoreline by several miles, has the River Almond, Crammond Island and another wonderful residential area. There are many 'secret' and 'hidden' places in Edinburgh worthy of experiencing and exposing. Hopefully you too will be able to savour them at some point. Cheers!

You are absolutely right, so tranquil as you walked down the old cobbled street you would hardly think that you were still in the Scottish capital. A real hidden treasure.

You should go back to Edinburgh again in about 2 or 3 year's time at the same time of the year so that you can enjoy the full delights of the Fringe Festival.

Really enjoyed this brief look around Edinburgh. I visited Edinburgh back in the early 1990's when I took a 5 day "Scottish Whirl" Trafalgar Coach trip around Scotland. As the name suggests, it was a bit of a whirl taking in Edinburgh, Glasgow, Aberdeen, Isle of Skye, Fort William and Pitlochry. Thoroughly enjoyed it but there was only time to see the main tourist spots. I look forward to your next video.

There was another wee village hidden away on the outer reaches of Edinburgh called Colinton which I had previously only really thought was just an area of Edinburgh but the 400 airport bus service that goes between Fort Kinnaird and Edinburgh airport passes through this wee hamlet on its way to the Gogar roundabout at the end of the Edinburgh city by-pass as it heads towards the airport.
