Yeah I can’t listen to “Blood Upon the Snow” without getting emotional. The line that always hits me the hardest, “I’ve walked the earth and there are so few here that know, how dark the night and just how cold the wind can blow.” Perfectly sums up my life with depression.

the game did such a beautiful job of addressing so many struggles that people deal with. depression, loss, broken families, alcoholism...whew. emotionally taxing but truly something so many can relate to and maybe feel a little less alone♥

That sums up depression in general Even if there are people who know how depression feels, they can never know the pain another person feels You can know what the pain is like, but you can never know how painful it is for another The world can be cold and cruel to you, but you can never know how cold and cruel it is for others I made it through my depression by doing as Faye said “Open your heart to the world and you will find every reason to keep living in it”

The only thing I might've added to Brok's funeral is that I think Atreus should have been there in some capacity. Maybe not on the shore with the group, but maybe standing on a ridge overlooking the funeral. And we could see him in the background. Then, sometime before Sindri vanishes, Atreus morphs into his wolf form and gives a mournful howl. A howl to say goodbye to both of his lost friends. Brok and Sindri.

It gets worse when you realize that it is because of Sindri himself and the only selfish act we see him do, his revival of his brother, that has sealed Brok's fate to never find peace. Without a complete soul, he is doomed to wander endlessly and aimlessly without ever seeing the afterlife. Also meaning that even in death, Sindri, due to his own actions, will never see his brother again.

I remember racking my brain around Brok’s riddle for a bit until I too settled on “hole. I was excited that I figured it out and was waiting for them to hopefully come up with the same answer. I soon forgot about it for awhile because of the whole war situation and all the pieces slowly coming together. Turns out at the end I was no longer excited for the answer and somehow came to regret it for being correct now because of the circumstances. Well played Santa Monica

I also wanted to share a painful story of mine about the new Resident Evil Remakes. In late 2015 I was in contact with Capcom about the facial likeness role of Leon for the RE 2 Remake.
