While the fight is pretty creative and all that, i think the ending was not done realy properly, it was not very clear if they wanted to go pretty on the touhou imspiration or just use it as base, but it felt like it was done realy akwardly, not horrible or anything, i just felt that trying to mish mash both series was not done properly, but hey if you are more to the fight then its a great one overral

But in this alternative ending after his death, Isaac is also taken into Touhou world. He is actually in Touhou world, because Doremy said that he will meet her in his dream, implying that right now, Isaac being in Touhou wasn't a dream

ALRIGHT time for this one. The character is (obviously) Doremy Sweet - shes from (maybe) the hardest touhou game, Touhou 15 Legacy of Lunatic Kingdom as the stage 3 boss. She also appears in the extra stage. Since shes the "ruler of the Dream World", she has complete control over dreams, as she can create, enter, stop, remove, and even... eat.. dreams.. But thats not important, probably. She fights you to "get rid of your nightmare", using most if not all of the attacks/spellcards she uses in her actual bossfight of stage 3 and her appearance as the midboss of the extra stage of LoLK. At the end of the bossfight, Doremy brings Isaac to the Hakurei Shrine - where Reimu Hakurei is waiting for him to wake up, and says he can live in the shrine until he finds a home somewhere in Gensokyo. Isaac finally lives a happy ending, I guess.

Ive been playing this mod for a while. That final boss is way more HARDCORE than it seems. Its not as Mind bending as the Touhou originals. But touhou doesnt have Slippery isaac baby steps. I still love it.

I'm not really much of a Touhou fan, but this was seriously one of the best mods I ever played. The ending was very wholesome and the fight with Doremy, though hard, wasn't horribly unbalanced. And I seriously cannot recommend the full version more so. There's one item that comes with it that can make you horribly OP if you play the shops right.

I've been playing this mod for the past few months and Doremy has always been my final destination. She's incredibly fun and balanced, there isn't a single scenario where you enter the battle and delete her instantly which is a great thing in my opinion. The patterns take time to learn but are also fun. The reverie mod in general is a banger and I can't recommend it enough even if you are not into Touhou. Thank you for covering it.

The boss feels a lot touhou - ish, but the ending feels... Bittersweet a lot. Even if this is a mod and not actual game, even if the isaac not actually dies, he's still dead. There is no matter what ending it is, he is still died from 0% of O² in a chest. All endings are just his delirium from lack of oxygen. So all this just looks unreal and falsely.
