What a fantastic location to explore. Seeing two untouched bunkers is really exciting. The writings and numbers on the wall were great to see. I’ve often wondered why they used the split doors on these bunkers. I also wonder how many houses and pubs have bunker oven or doors and windows from the German positions? Hope your still recovering well from your lung problem. Seems like you’re not coughing as much. If Eagle Eyes grows anymore you’re going to have to get a bigger camera to film him with lol. Can’t wait to see what you’ll have next for us.

Always love to see the bunkers without graffiti and modern vandalism. Even with the modern fittings, and painting, in those earlier bunkers, they are still mostly untouched from when the Germans left so long ago. And it is always nice to see the original warning stencils. It is kind of funny to think, that this was probably someone's sole job. Go round to all the bunkers after they've been completed by the construction crew, and painted white inside by the painting crew, and stencil the warning signs on the walls, as per regulations. It is these little "personal" touches that help bring these places back to life. And hearing the gunfire in the background was just a nice add-on to that. Such a fascinating location. Thank you both for sharing! Stay Safe, and, Stay Well!

I watched a video about vehicles the Germans abandoned when retreating and after the surrender that farmers and towns people along with soldiers took for their own. They are starting to be found all over like Norway, France, England, Russia, Spain , Africa, the United States and other countries. Many are being pulled out of old barns to be restored. You have to wonder how much survived the war from these bunkers and are sitting in a barn or home somewhere. We are just so lucky that you are sharing these adventures with us to let us see what still remains.

Liked the surveillance photos during the intro. Very smart with the water resevoir, once again thinkning of everything. The Regelbau 622 was huge. Too bad that bunker was not completed. I would imagine that all of the items you mentioned that were taken are being used as they are of such good quality. Great place indeed. It's difficult avoiding getting ill or hurt as you are always exposed to different types of weather fronts and sometimes dangerous terrains. Thank you so much for going out there for us and bringing us genuine WW2 history, so appreciated. Yes, I can definitely hear those Panzer tanks. Just imagine 20 soldiers being accommodated there at one time. Once again so well made. Pleased to see that there was no grafitti, but a shame so many of the items were stripped. I understand their feelings and wanting to forget about the war, but it would have been awesome if everything was left in it's original state. I do feel for the soldier that went crazy and ended up being transferred to the eastern front. Chances are he didn't live to see his loved ones again. Great to see the original German writing, good advice. Do love those bunker ovens also. Thank you so very much for taking us alone EE and HH. We wouldn't have been able these important pieces of history without you. Please, please stay healthy and keep smiling. 😁😊

Interesting that the large bunker was repurposed by someone after the war. I wonder who put it to use? Was it in the East or the West? It makes sense that some of these locations would continue to be used by a military. It looks like some of these old roads are still driven on from time to time. It sure is nice that there was no graffiti in these locations. I wonder why they have so many half doors in these bunkers, it does not seem like that would be good protection. Ghost tanks in the forest?!? Some military movements nearby? Very cool location! Thanks to you and EE for another great adventure!
