I'm not sure how you can argue that the revive mechanic doesn't change the game completely, if inconsistently. There's so much tempo that's lost because a revive happens and a wave gets pushed. I think it's easy to miss, but it makes a difference

Diamond Akshan OTP here, a couple of tips for any new players here trying him out Waveclear is insane post level 8, clear wave and roam or pressure under turret for prio One of strongest level 2 champions with swing, play around level advantage early and look for all ins Crit build (Kraken, LDR, IE, RFC, BT) = burst On hit (Kraken, Bork, Guinsoos, Wits end, RFC) = kite/durability The problem I see with this build is that its too niche to be more effective than on-hit (which will do more damage and give more durability). What is the point of having multiple swings if you get resets off a takedown. The item seems redundant on a champion that gets resets. And going a normal adc crit build would be more damage so. This build is dogshit and was only viable because the other team had no tanks.

As an akshan main, i appreciate this. I thought navori was ass on him. Also, i have mained a few champs in my day, including azir, and akshan is the one that had me improve mechanically for the longest. He is not easy. Even 100s of games in i am still improving on e mechanics. Upon reflection, navori is still kinda ass. Akshan rly does not need cdr lmao. This guy is just rly good.

@@astrolotiger It does, but so does on hit, and honestly, most akshans max is second, and you don't rly used it for the damage lategame. Don't get me wrong, the damage is good, but using E to go in is int, unless you can reliably get the kill anyways. The way I see it, if you want to go navori, there is one scenario where I see it work, and that is the Kraken > Rapidfire > Stormraiser build. You build those items first, then you go Navori. You enter stealth, two tap somebody and get out with the slow. The alternative is ie, which will do more damag with the two tap, so you choose between damage, and stealth uptime.

yea no Navori changes arent just that This always lowered CD based on Crit cause u needed to crit all time the real change is that now your skills deal more dmg based on your crit chance thats why its on the same lvl as IE but IE gives more early while Navori gives more later and u dont need 60% crit to have it u can have it as first item its just u need crits to lower CD cause if u dont crit u dont lower CD

I started playing league right around the time of the Mordekaiser rework in season 9, I think that and Volibear were two of the best reworks they've ever done. Some other notable ones you didn't mention since season 9 were Pantheon (lot of people forget this one) and Swain sort of had a couple mini ones but were hugely impactful to his gameplay. I'm glad this champ isn't more popular, in the hands of a one trick it's actually disgusting, it's like an Irelia or a Darius where you can often just get a quick lvl1/2 kill if you don't get respected, which you often don't because people know what Darius can do but not Akshan. He also does NOT fall off and is highly versatile build-wise. On Hit is my favorite, just melts people. If you get CCed you're toast tho so don't be a dumbass with the E.
