I used to have this impression of Scar as someone who panics under stress and is easily targeted and falls for traps but MAN oh man Scar has become an absolute champ. The way he defended against Gem at the start, shooting that button from a distance then dealing so much damage to Gem, he was GREAT under pressure there. That MCC training and hOtGuY has really forged Scar! Also the guy had probably the most kills this session!

Gem truly was cursed this episode. I am guessing she targeted Scar early on thinking he would be a quick way for her to get the ball rolling -- only to find out that villain Scar fights back hard. And even when she finally bests him, his stray arrow finally finishes the deed.

She targeted him specifically because he was saying the entire last episode "I wanna be unhinged", and figured he'd be the least upset about suddenly having to kill the whole server

Scar managed to get amazing enchants last session and it really shows how much that paid off by how long he survived the onslaught. And it's particularly funny that while scar has a reputation for dying silly deaths, he's also really _really_ dangerous if you give him a bow.

It helps when everyone is playing by the same rules but him Nobody on the server would pin a yellow name in their home as a green name, and wait for them to come out so they can shoot them. He was also just taking free shots at people throughout the episode before it was even clear they were attacking him We could say it was his task, but he does it all the time even outside this episode. Limited life was full of it

Scar’s tasks really doesn’t want him to have friends. When Grian asked to team up, Scar had to do the opposite what people said. Now when Scar declares to make allies, his task requires him to do the opposite.

​@@katherinec2759 which is honestly ridiculous cos if they seriously thought having 30 hearts was not going to make them last this long then wow. Honestly. Wow. Yes, you don't regen health but you can gain 10 hearts an episode for completing a task. That's the same as a whole life in normal Minecraft. You could take 10 hearts of damage every episode and as long as you complete your task, you're basically immortal. They needed to add a punishment for not completing a normal task. It's just too easy. After getting feather falling, fall damage is kinda non-existant. And even the reds can't kill whoever they like anymore so even less deaths without this task. Even Grian/Etho's task the previous session was to get this same effect it just killed the wrong people.

I think you can attribute the kill to Scar. Doesn't change the task since Grian and Scott both lived, but him slicing Cleo, from her perspective, made her down the hearts that made her just barely unable to get up for air and drown. She had an open air spot above her, half a heart would have had her live, and she was fleeing from him and his active attack damage.

Task Idea: you can speak to dead players, but nobody else can hear them. You can use this for whatever you like, but if anyone calls you out, you fail the task

@@teresar6348 well since the ghosts would be talking to you, just ignoring them would be hard and also there are benefits of being able to talk to them (such as telling one to spy on someone for you) that would make it so that it’s really a better Idea to risk it and actually talk to them. If it really needed to though, the task could be edited to make it clear that you’re basically required to talk to them to a certain degree, kind of like the imaginary friend task but your friend isn’t imaginary

Having the benefit of hindsight, I would agree with scars logic. The instructions were to show him the book after killing him. He burned the book thus they didn't show it to him. So his original task was still in play. In my heart he succeeded. Great episode.

I feel like they felt obligated to make this series more similar to other ones, with more fighting. I could argue this one is better, and more fun, as the social tasks and chaos that comes with it create a unique experience that is just as engaging and tense while lasting longer.

Task Idea: Corrupt a player’s entire base with naturally generated sculk blocks using a sculk catalyst. You can feed it experience points from farm animals, mobs eggs, a spawner, killing players, or whatever. Just generate it in someone’s base until their houses, walls, and land becomes nothing but sculk.

Whoo! Scar, you did some serious damage! I bet if Gem hadn't gotten allies and it had been one on one or even two on one you would've killed her. In fact, I think she had to go get allies first before she could take you. And then you were so successful with the boogie kills later on, so serious kudos to you!
