I love how you switched it up with the yellow. In your 3rd row you have a yellow that needs to be turned over.

Hi Pat!!! Thank you for sharing the pic of my book…was so surprised to see it this morning. I just had to show my husband and he thought it was cool too. I love your flapjack quilt…the yellow running through it looks great. I have less then 16 blocks left on Secret Lives of Color and can’t wait to put it together.

I enjoy your show so much that i binge watch the older shows all day while i sew. Your stories of making things since you were a little girl is my story too. I have 3 younger sisters and 3 brothers but i was the only one to make things. Your stories have brought back so many memories and I thank you for such a gift!

It is always fun to see how other quilters are using fabrics in a pattern. I have been "patiently" waiting to start. Thinking this will make a really cute baby quilt but waiting to find out if baby coming (our 11th great grand baby!) is a she baby or a he baby. Flowery or shirting. Just found out yesterday that the flowers are blooming! So excited.

Thank you for showing some other folks Flapjacks and talking about black. I have multiple black fabric scraps in my fabric pull. At first I was worried that they would be a " black hole", but now I am not. Thank you!!

Clover seam ripper is nice. But I have dulled hundreds of seam ripper taking apart used clothing for patchwork and reuse in crafting. The one that has stayed sharp and has very fine 'head' is Taylor Seville. Expensive but it removes my tiny EPP stitches without ripping the fabric.

Secret lives of color, yes I am pulling fabric also ahead. I just tried about 15 blacks I have and none of them seem to be matching. Black is going to be hard, Pat any advance suggestions, maybe u could discuss black sometime? Loving this quilt along, fascinating!

You don't need to match exactly. I won't look at black until I get there. And then I'll use just what I already own
