Excellent movie ! And actually it is not that rare that your partner has a secret life and doesn't tell you all abouthime/herself. My first wife became an alcoholic at age 7, after she was abused several times by male relatives, but she never told me. She also developed acute necrotic pancreatitis years before her untimely death - I believe she knew, as she was an MD, but again she never told me, We loved each other dearly, but in the end I found her dead at home 3 days after she had pissed when returning from a several days business trip; I came home at 11: 30 pm and found her already going walkabout. Years later I found a letter adressed to me in one of my favourite books, explaining everything to a T. While I am happily married again to a wonderful woman and now also have two kids and six grandkids I still love my 1st wife for the letter..

The song was used by this movie and another Canadian TV show back in 2005, but it was never released in an album. According to the web archive, from Paula's defunct website "'How Long' a track off of my upcoming & yet to be released album, 'Stay Awhile' has been licensed for the Alfred Hitchcockesque made for TV Film 'Secret Lives', starring Daphne Zuniga (Melrose Place). 'Secret Lives' will air on June 25th in the U.S. on Lifetime and will follow in Canada & in theatres throughout Europe and Asia. You will have to stay awhile (pardon the pun) to hear 'How Long' as it is placed in the very last scene... In my other secret life, a few have mentioned they have seen my doppelganger singing lead and playing guitar for The Hermit...Well I must confirm the rumour - yes, it is true. I will be heading off to Toronto for NXNE and some shows back east with The Hermit but before THAT....I will be heading down south to LA to master my album! Yes, the day has finally come...No more secrets.. Stay tuned for more secrets to come...(if you're good)." Seems like the song was supposed to be on her album, but she changed her mind in the process, I suppose.

According to Wikipedia "15/Love is a Canadian television series that revolved around the lives of aspiring young tennis players at the Cascadia Tennis Academy." And regarding how Russian pirates got this song, they most likely got the parts from the russian dub of the movie, as the song is also in the credits of the russian dub, and the pitch matches up with the one on the bootleg dvds. Not sure where the Russian dub actually is, but this is the information I have from the reddit

As you can see in the credits, this movie was shot in British Columbia, not in Eugene, Oregon, my hometown. It wasn't a very good match for Eugene, with all those snow-capped mountains nearby. The only snow-capped mountains visible here are about 80 miles away in the Cascade Mountains and can be seen only on very rare occasions when the air is clear enough of moisture all the way. There were some technical glitches, one for example, is that they don't have TAs (teaching assistants) at the Univ. of Oregon, they have GTFs (graduate teaching fellows). Another is that the guy flew down to L.A., conducted some business and then flew back to the town in Washington, all during the daylight hours of one day. Is that possible?
