You can get car like this (police version) when you stop Frank and steal it. But when I was back in Saliery's bar there was written that car was added to garage but in next mission it wasn't there. I wasn't trying it again, maybe it was missing.

I did it many times, but the Lassiter V16 Police always misses as soon as 10th Chapter is over.

You can't store police vehicles in the garage because they get turned into normal cars.

It is also possible to get Don Morello out of his car in original Mafia. You should somehow bump Morello's Fletcher car into the wall to stand still, and then get out of your car. Sam and Paulie will do the same, then you just need to wait until either Sam or Paulie will run out of ammo. One of them will go melee, will open the door of Morello's car and will throw Morello on the ground. But then game will say: Morello escaped. This mission is scripted the way that player cannot open the car. but NPCs can.

If you steal the Lassiter from Sergio and store it in the garage you can chase Morello with it and it will be very easy to corner his car. You can actually get him and his goons out of the Silver if you shoot and kill them first and then you can drag them out of the car like normal

Do you mean before reaching the countryside? Otherwise you should be able to kill him and finish the mission.

I remember trying kill Frank while heading to the airport... I have also managed to block them at some point and the car Frank was in behaved very much similar to this one.

You can get the car earlier before Juliano Bridge, just push him right of the bridge.

I managed to kill Morello and take over his Silver Fletcher before the countryside, but the blue cross was still on the Silver. Once I reached for the countryside, I found myself on foot while the Morello gang was alive, well and in the limousine

If you have a car with not enough seats, Paulie and/or Sam get placed outside the car, too.

You can do something similar with FBI car. While you are about to warn Lucas friend the cops go after him their car is already spawned behing near bulding visible on map. It is behind fence you cant climb but one of the poles are just a texture and you can walk through. Steal the car, drive to the railways and you will be able to get on road near the train/street crossing. Drive the car to Lucas, take the mission and warn friend to get out of the city. Sit back inside the car and after the timer runs out there will be NPC spawned in your car and script will be fighting your input of steering.

@@Iksperial Here is more detailed info. It still works on steam edition. After you finish trip to the country. Sit into your car in front of salieris storage facility and drive to the baseball stadium. On radar you will see white parked car and that is it. Only way i found so far to get it is through the fence pole. You have to pass concrete fence over the street of stadium till you reach wood fence and the pole you can walk through is the one where stands the power line pole right in front of it. Once you reach the car drive away from the stadium as far as you can till you reach railway tracks. Drive on these and game let you clip through the fence with no problem. Now you are in free roam in lassiter police.

I remember stealing the Highway Patrol Lassiter v16 in the mission where you gotta warn Luca's friend about the cops. Too bad you can't keep these in your garage.

I also managed to stop him and kill him early on the bridge but the game is programmed that you can't do it earlier than normal

That Lassiter is one of the best cars in this game,too bad we can only get it near the end of the game :/ i had to use the cheat so i could steal it from the Rainbow Garden restaurant and actually use it a bit more in the game

Also other cars that have good acelerations is mob cars that are waitin you out in Great Deal And the Mision when you kill morelo if car are scripted also like his brother car
