Born with the physical architecture to train to world class level, 24 years of training, specialized training through voice change to preserve his prepubescent high notes, thousands of hours of practice, years in swim training to develop lung capacity and breath control, room temp beverages only after age 16 to protect his vocal cords. Easy ! Let's all do it ! You first ! Ha ! ,😂

I don't think your comment was offensive, but just to clarify. Of course these are just snippets from the lessons. I can't just "learn" someone to sing like Dimash, I totally can't, but he can be an enormous inspiration for every vocalist in terms of always trying to improve and get better. I never stated that Dimash didn't commit his whole life regarding vocal/musical training, he is extremely talented and a very hard worker. All kind regards, Christof

You forget only one thing: a lot of playback to preserve his voice. Nothing against anyone it is only reality. Dimash is marvellous.

@@MrFiore I think not sir, with all due respect. He knows full well how to protect his voice, and what you suggest would be a professional, cultural and religious anathema to him. There are several venues that require it, the Kremlin for one, and he abides by their requirements. He went through a phase of YEARS of waving the microphone in front of his mouth because of those accusations, to prove he was actually singing so disturbing, his fans thinking it a new mic technique. I grew up in Kazakhstan, my sister and friends went to uni with him, our parents friends from working on various charities together. He has.been in school and under a coach since the age of 5 the 3rd generation of professional musicians and vocalists, both his parents are, his mother an opera star, what you suggest unprofessional by their standards and unnecessary if properly done, the voice cared for professionally. He practices a minimum of 3 hours a day, more when performing or on tour. I sang onstage on Broadway as a professional from age 4, living with an aunt in Manhattan, my family in Kazakhstan (my Dad is a petroleum engineer there) we as " kid performers" rehearsed with a coach for 2-3 hours a day, did 6 shows a week and 2 matinees and in a lifetime of it, I've never known a professional to do it. Perhaps in the pop, rock genre, no other. Great artists like Dimash LIVE for performing, he wouldn't think of it !

Christof's student here, and I'm not offended either, but heartily agree with your explanation of Dimash's astounding vocal excellence. I recognize that even if I were similarly gifted, at 66, I'm far too old too have any hope of ever coming close to Dimash's abilities. Rather than seeing his skill level as a destination for me, I embrace it as a "direction' instead, a standard to pursue and aim at, even though I know I'll never actually attain any real likeness to his unique vocal skill. I do know that I can, however, with the help of an excellent and encouraging coach, learn to be a much better singer than I was when I began this journey. Sometimes we just need to see (or hear) just what the human voice is capable of. What a remarkable gift it is. Thank you for your feedback and for sharing insights into Dimash's background and dedication that I hadn't learned elsewhere.
