Secret Passage in James Deering's Dressing Room | Vizcaya's Secret Doors - Ep. 7

Mr. Deering was indeed a private individual but his home is truly a reflection of that. From the sitting room to the Caravel room. One could walk across from end to end without being seen.
➡️ As can only be expected, the main suite which was occupied by Mr. Deering himself allowed him to move all the way to the other corner of the house without being seen.
We explore his bedroom and the hidden access into all the guest suites Mr. Deering had his private elevator, and even how he could move to the ground floor swimming pool from here.
His room had a walk-through wardrobe that led straight into his sitting room. The dresser was once lavishly decorated but is unfortunately now closed to the public.
➡️ His room is also connected to his bathroom, where his faucet looks out onto the gorgeous bay. In his day, this view would have included islands in the distance, but now long, the bathroom just looks out over the ocean.
