Great technique - almost worth using the outside of a removable bottom cake tin as sides for pouring the coals in. I'm a clutz theyd all fall off.

Hi Ron, I see in the Pizza Technique Exposed you look to be using bagged charcoal . Have you seen or used the bagged Gidgee charcoal? Wondering of its quality & availability, I saw article on Landline. Thanks

HI mate, yes I was given a bag to try. Honestly for what I do it was just too hot. I spend my day in front of a portable fire pit doing cooking demos and the heat that stuff pumps out makes it unbearable to be near and harder to not burn any food. I love using gidgee when im out west but youve got to be so careful with it because of the heat it pumps out. The other thing that concers me and I havent personally investigated it but I was told that they are actually cutting down gidgee trees to make it. Im not tooo keen on that idea if it is true but again I dont know if it is. Hope this helps.

im not rich enough to own a camp oven to try it maybe when you get to 100,000 suds you will give one away lol. jk i know you love all your children lol looks good tho
