Really appreciated this video guys! During the eight hour live broadcast I’m always looking for them to talk about the new tech in detail and they never do so it’s great to get a condensed video with all the highlights like this. More of this in the future, please!

Great work, Mark! I've spotted the 180 hed back wheel which is out from at least two years, but it's really interesting the fact that not many athletes can use it. I also saw the Ultra Cool Tech products and I think these are the future for cooling before and during the performance

Wow some serious tech there…… the water bottles under the chest was the biggest 🤯🤯🤯 and the “aero shin tape” I’d like to hear Ollie’s opinion on that vs the quality aero calf guards/socks 😀

I just got my speedmax and when I ordered they recommended that new base bar to me based on my measurements. I had to wait 3 months for it but it was worth it. They call it the extra long base bar and it has a stem length of 115mm, rise of 20mm (half way between their flat base bar and their rise bar at 40mm) and a width of 390mm. I think some of the pro's versions might be slightly narrower though.

Seeing all these Aero helmets and how the athletes are positioned on the bike I kinda wonder how to sight on a bike. I struggle with that a lot, but I must admit that I am running a low cost setup and not using elevated aero bars yet. The second questions that comes with that: do you have any experience with spacers for aerobars to lift them up a little more?

Is Patrick Lange's second bottle (with drinking tube) custom? Google tells me it's from Steal Parts, but not on their website :(

Do you think that a non vented on such a hot and humid day would affect cooling with the consequences of suffering on the run?
@nicholasreinert128314 күн бұрын
"reduce resistance to air penetration" is reduce front pressure drag. That rule is poorly written and as such all rear bottle setups should be legal under the wording of the law. Be definition something behind the rider cannot "reduce resistance to air penetration". It can help reduce low pressure suction behind the rider, but this is not reducing suction drag, not front pressure drag.

About the Speedmax, Canyon offer 3 steam lenght. You have 3 choice when you buy a Speedmax CFR or SLX (65/85 and now 115mm)
@Microbit014 күн бұрын
The key word here is "when" 😂
@markthrelfall357714 күн бұрын
I was aware of this, but had been told that some pros (I think Sam) has a longer version. But 115 is probably that, which is great to hear :)
@LT-ih8rw14 күн бұрын
@@Microbit0 it is already available if you order a speedmax, you will experience the "customise my speedmax" where you will be able to choose between the 3 lenght but also the shape of the bar (flat/mid-rise and high-rise)
