I'm right-handed but my right fingers, as well as ankle by the way, just can't seem to be able to go fast. I don't lack power, I lack the ability to coordinate the right muscles on and off past a certain tempo in order to do fast singles. Always been so. My left side lacks control comparatively, but speed isn't an issue. Been trying a billion approaches over the years and so far nothing really worked.

I like to increase by 3bpm so your not always playing 100, 105, 110, 115 etc. Going by 3s you scroll through all numbers, 103, 106, 109, 112, 115, 118, 121, 124, 127, 130. Also good to move starting point a bpm or 2 so you're not always playing the same speed.
