I've lived as an American expat in China for 13 years. I have a Chinese wife that has the same mental disorder. I don't keep her chained or restrained, but she had previously thrown meat cleavers, knives and other heavy objects at me for simply disagreeing with her. She is becoming calmer and has more self control now that she has embraced Christianity. I expect the Lord will continue to help her. That being said, I've personally been to Big Spring numerous times and can assure everyone that the vast majority of its population inhabit houses with floors, doors, and minimal cockroaches.
