Paul Pierce and LeBron James' beef started with spitting and escalated to family drama

Do you ever find yourself in a situation where you thought you’d put all the past relationship drama behind you, but for whatever reason you find the other person still clinging onto the history you had together? And does this drama come out publicly whenever you turn on the TV? No? Well, LeBron James does.
Despite having not suited up in the NBA for over three years now, in his new role as an ESPN analyst, Paul Pierce finds a way to trash LeBron James at any given opportunity. Envy leads you to say some absurd things - whether it’s saying that LeBron isn’t a top five player in NBA history, how it was him alone who made LeBron go to the Miami Heat in free agency, or just the thought that if the two were the same age he would have stopped LeBron from earning his NBA titles.
While Paul Pierce continues to hate, LeBron just keeps his head down and hoops. This is a situation that goes way beyond Pierce trolling on TV. It spans multiple teams, family members, and even a preseason spitting incident. This beef really has some history to it.

@@LouieiuoL1223 The term "superteam" is not very well defined, but from '07-'10 he got beaten by: the 07 spurs, which were stacked (but probably not a superteam, because they were drafted); the big four Celtics who were a real superteam; And the magic, who weren't a superteam. before 07 he didn't reach his prime quite yet and he got beaten a bunch by detroit, who weren't a superteam, but they had a lot of depth. Anyways it isn't hard to see that before the decision, Lebron got beaten by a bunch of teams who had multiple stars and had much more depth, while his teams barely had decent role players.

Honestly, he is, and if the Cavs could actually acquire good players and not guys in their 30s averaging 12 ppg, Lebron wouldn't have ever needed to leave. The Miami 3 were going to go wherever lebron went, it was part of his negotiations, he was going to go to whatever team was willing to open their wallets, and he gave cleveland first dibs and they let him walk, and I think that's the epitome of organization. They were willing to overpay for Fat Shaq, and sell "Witness Protection" jerseys, but when offered the change to basically guarantee a ring in the near future with an elite big three, they were unwilling, and that never gets talked about enough.

Yes, people laugh at Pierce but look the rivals Lebron has been playing against lately, Demarr DeRozan, Jimmy Butler, those sorry Hawks teams, Paul George, Jae Crowder, and last year was a mess, they played the finals against a Miami team which had a good bubble but weren't a true contender team and with key injuries. The pettiness and insecurity from Pierce in this beef was painfully obvious. Great job breaking it down.
