Honestly the unboxing was the best unboxing experience I have had. It is a really good quality company. The stiffness of the chair even an issue for me considering my old chair was literally a plank of wood with some wheels on the bottom

yup. Assembled the chair, open youtube and this one was in my recommendation :-) . Anyways, at first sight/feel: this chair is super and worth every dollar. Assembly is a breeze. Bought it especially for the lumbar support which is built in and can be adjusted (not just a stupid cushion in your back). And yes: I tried leaning back completely and it holds and feels comfortable :-)

I have both the autonomous ergochair2 and secretlabs titan. Both are decent chairs. The titan is too hard and after an hour of sitting then standing up you can really feel how much loss of leg circulation due to its firmness. Ergo chair base bottoms out but you can modify the foam for a better one easily. After modifications on the ergochair I sit on the ergo more than the titan. Also you can’t return the chairs. I would recommend buying a chair from amazon so if you’re not satisfied you can return it. I would return the titan if I could but can’t. I recently went to staples to test out their 400 chair and I think that chair is better than both the ergo and titan, but not as good as my modified ergo. The best part of buying a chair there is you can return it. Don’t fall for all the hype that these you tubers are giving to these chairs, they were most likely sponsored by them. Also, gaming chairs don’t have the many options of a ergonomic chair. They just have recline and you always have to adjust the recline where with a ergo chair they adjust to you dynamically. Ergo chairs are better.

@@edl6026 if I could remotely justify it, but if you work from home full time, I would highly recommend a Herman-Miller Mirage 2 (or whatever number they are on). We have one for my wife, who works full time from home (justified 1k price). Breaths great, tons of support options, and well built. I would say the price on all higher end chairs is ridiculous, $500 I think should be the price cap for what you're getting

Hello fellow big people. 6'5/250. Yeah that's why I splurged 400 on a nice chair. Had many others that were too small for my back, my shoulder blades were where my head should be lol. Also know it's good quality, has lumbar support, and a good warrantee.

I watched other reviews before buying my Secret Lab Titan, and I felt the same way when it came to every other review saying the chair was “firm”. It’s a supporting firmness, while soft at the same time. You’re not gonna feel like you’re sitting on a rock as some reviewers make it seem, you’ll feel supported.m and comfortable. By far one of the best and most precise reviews I’ve seen on the Chair. 10/10 recommend this chair to anyone considering it. You will not regret 🙌🏽

@@Viewer13128 It is firm. I work at a desk a lot and also stream. It doesn't cause me pain but it can get uncomfortable after extended sessions. 4hrs is fine, longer and you feel it. Posture feels better though.

@@iiKaina 5-10 hours worth is absolutely no issue for the Secretlab chairs, although you of course have to purchase the correct model. I personally think the TITAN is always the best option for the majority of consumers unless you are exceptionally large or small.

Great informative review, i was still unsure about the pricetag that comes with it but since i'm a pretty skinny but tall guy i have alot of (lower) back problems. Somehow, I have a similar experience. I, too, had almost that very Staples model chair for the same amount of time and price until Sunday, 3-28-21, when it broke down. I knew of Secretlab for a while and shopped around for their chairs months before this incident, but that Turcotte from Staples spurred me into gettin a Titan which should arrive tomorrow.

I got the 2020 titan, the dark knight edition. It is fine. Is it worth the €480 ($510)? Not really. The packaging and instructions were really good and easy to follow. Putting the chair together is an easy 1 person job. I am not overly happy with how hard the chair is, not too happy with the alignment of the backrest to the chair base or the arms rests (When both fully slid back fully and at the same height, one of the armrests touches the backrest and the other is about an inch away. I do like the head cushion. I really do feel like you could get a chair this good for half the money or less so anyone reading this, shop around.

@@gabrielchan4420 Every chair peels . You just need to know how to maintain it . I bought some leather care spray online , kept it out of the sun . Wipe it about once every 3 days .Its still in tip top condition after 19 months of use . Most people jump into buying chairs and then dont maintain it

I would have took the pu leather 2.0 if it wasn't from my cat that could scrap it so i went with the softweave. They do have 5 year warranty and even extended the warranty on pu leather for places that are really humid... so i trust them that if you do car for you chair a little its going to go a long way.

It fixed my lower back pain issues from prolonged sitting. Can sit on it for 8 hours straight and my back is fine. However, it introduced new neck pain. Trying without the pillow now to see if maybe the pillow is causing the new neck pain. Will update in a month.

As someone who has been on the fence wondering if the hype surrounding the secretlab chairs were overall worth the price tag given how many "gaming" chairs on the market there are this review has done more to inform me from both a visual perspective and from the reviewers own input from using the chair. my biggest issue with other reveiws has been they either show off the chair from good angles but it doesnt show dimensions or shape of the chair very well which left me with questions like "will the wings in the side dig in". This review went above and beyond that and answered questions i had not even thought of and highlight issues i have with both my current chair (ikea markus)and my previous "gaming" chair (corsair t1) . the wings i would find would dig in and would make me very round shouldered which as someone who is 6ft 3 is an issue in the T1 and was not advertised for people of a smaller frame. I've had my ikea markus replaced twice now for the same issue as soon as it reaches the 2 year mark of use it will rock side to side or lean one way which both have done a number on my back over the last year of lockdowns. thank you for providing such a clear and precise review of your experience with this chair as its defiantly helped in pushing me to see the value behind the titan price tag. after my corsair t1 being such a disappointment

Very Nice!. Definitely could relate to upgrading from the Staples chair to a Deluxe one and not going full fabric due to kiddies (My kindergartner does the same to me but I can't complain too much because my home office is literally a nook in his playroom). Overall, you look Gooood in that chair and love that it killed your lower back pain and that you have the full airplane mode recline. Thank you so much for a great real guy and Daddy to boot review.

Clicked this video to have someone actually try and criticize this chair. Because as you yourself said, 400 of your local monetary units?! Holy crap! But considering the circumstances we currently live in, I too need a solid chair that'll last. Thanks for the help (and geebus, someone else who's gonna give Secretlabs a sale).

I ordered one after seeing this and other reviews. Sadly not the same experience here, I got the Softweave Titan. It arrived with damage: the bottom seat part had issues with the foam, you can feel it when you sit on it, backrest had a bit of damage out of the box as well, as well as one of the arm rests showing a line where the metal underneath is. but still usable. I contacted Secret Lab support, which took them 7 days (and a tweet after 6 days) to initially respond to me. After 29 days they send out a replacement part for the seat, which was also damaged. This time the thread stitching was lose/broken upon arrival. I didn't even take it out of the plastic yet, so now I have to go through support yet again to get a replacement part, hopefully they will respond quicker this time. Not sure if their EU division is worse or that they can't handle the amount of orders, but I can't really recommend them at this point. The lack of quality for a 550 dollar (converted from Euro) chair.. Even though the chair itself is pretty comfy for me.

Update: They shipped another faulty replacement part... So this is the third item I get, second replacement part. Not that great right now.
