Assembled my 2022 Evo this morning and I'm blown away. I had some premium products in the past but the 'unpacking experience' is genuinely an experience. Assembly is dead easy, massive instructions and assembly video online to accompany it. I know spending over £400 on a gaming/office chair is a lot, not everybody can afford it, but considering the technology, materials used and comfort I'm surprised it doesn't cost twice as much! I looked at many reviews before purchasing, all saying Secretlab is the best, and I can completely agree with it!! I absolutely love it!

To me - this is a very true "mint green". its more green than blue if that helps... also - if you order your chair and hate the color or anything, you have 45 days to return it.. so dont open the box completely if you hate the color

Mate, If only 100% of companies had the confidence to sell their product to a camera like this. Thankyou. PS. I DO NOT agree with you website suggesting 189cm+ height to go for the XL chair on the EVO series... I just sold my 6 month old 2020 XL as the seat base and the arm rests are far too wide unless your well over 100kg.... (The new and the old XL are the same width seat base and arm rests). The XL provided zero support on the sides, and even with armrests fully inward they were out to the side, you couldn't get your weight under you. If your tall but a healthy BMI Don't get the XL! I'm 6'6 and 94kg.

@@dexterie for me who weight 60-65kg the chair feels good. I wish you could take the lumbar support out a little bit more but its alright. You can always use a pillow if necessary. I sit around 3-4h a day on the chair and for that its good! The only complain I have is the lumbar support not going out more but it works for me still.

The fact that I can change the position of the lumbar support makes a big difference. Its a heavy cost for a chair but for me its been worth it. As long as i can keep this for 4+ years its all good. I just received a Secretlab Titan EVON Titan Leatherette in Black. The box was well padded, instructions were very clear, but what these reviews don’t mention is the formaldehyde like smell from the chair materials. I’m currently airing it out and hopefully the strong nauseating smell will disappear. Overall, the materials are sturdy, good framing, but the lumbar support looks lame. I’ll have to try it out for at least a week or two to determine if it justifies the $580 price tag. Good luck

You need softer seats in the XL line. Big folks need more padding. To firm hurts our backs badly. The pressure of the seat will mess with us. Hope these are softer than the previous XL.

Why did you didnt add the synchro-mechanic? This is such an important ergonomic factor which you can find in the Backforce. Im really thinking which of these both i should buy. Backforce has on the one hand 10 years warranty and the synchro mechanic but i really love your chair and you can buy it with real leather which will be the best material in the long run. know what would be SUPER COOL if secret labs sold the back base and arm rests as single items so people can upgrade their old chairs when they start wearing down instead of pay the full hog for the single chair then when they have them as solo peaces they can intergrate specialized versions for people with longer legs narrower forms etc and make the chair fully modualr instead of selling as a series. tho i know they won't do this but the first chair company that does will prob be able to market multiple backs for different occasions and sell storage bags for them too.

If your son prefers a more spacious sitting experience, you can consider the Secretlab Titan Evo 2022 (Size R) and your son can use a footrest with it if he's unable to place his feet on the ground. I saw that the Regular size model can take up to 130kg but as that exceeds the recommended weight, will that affect the performance of the lumbar support or any other aspect of the chair (i.e adjusting height, lean etc) I of course would want the cheaper regular one but if me exceeding the recommended weight will make its lifespan shorter, then I’m more than happy to get the XL! The TITAN Evo 2022 is my first "Expensive" chair and it disappoint. The leatherette creaks like hell with every movement. The creaking is caused by the base of the back rest pressing tightly against the plastic part of the base. So imagine when you move, the smooth surface of the leatherette rubbing against the smooth surface of the plastic, it creates a annoyingly loud creaking/squeaky sound. But no worries, SL will send you a barrier kit made of a felt like material that acts like a divider between the 2 smooth surfaces from rubbing against each other. SL also included a video on how to install the Barrier Kit. I noticed that the chair in the video made it so easy to slide the barrier in between but i had to disassemble the back piece in order to install the barrier because its too tight! its obvious SL had a design flaw, they made the base of the back rest too wide and it pressed against the plastic piece causing it to squeak. But in the barrier kit installation video, it's obvious SL had fixed it in manufacturing, narrowing the base of the back piece, allowing the barrier kit to slide in with ease. MY main issues with SL is, why did they still shipped the initial flawed batch to their customers, knowing of the design flaw? Wait for customers to complained and shipping them a Barrier kit. Why don't SL recall all the faulty batch and sell a quality chair to its customer!?

That said, we'd like to share that our full-metal 4D armrests can be adjusted to your preferred setting in 4 directions so that they won't get in your way. To add on, you can easily detach our pre-attached armrests should you wish to do so, simply remove the M8 screws holding them in place from the bottom of your seat base. However, we advise against doing so as the armrests help to support your wrists and elbows. @@Secretlabchairs I ended up buying the xl evo 2 and I really am liking the chair so far. I did have to remove the arm rests because they don't go low enough for me to play at my desk. They hit the desk and don't go under. When the bolts are loosened up and the arm rest hangs lower than they are supposed to they will go under the desk. So I'm thinking about getting some longer bolts that fit and using spacers to make the arm rests lower. Having your whole arm at the right height on the desk top really increases accuracy in fps games. Maybe most people anchor their elbow to the chair arm rest....

I would not recommend the 2022 series the Just got mine bad return policy, magnetic pillow doesn't work well constantly falls off... the arm rests wobble with the "4d" feature, chair creeks.

As for the armrests, they are fully-adjustable and some freeplay is expected to allow the mechanisms to adjust smoothly. That being said, do message our support team at secretlab.co/support and they'll be happy to look into the sound situation with your chair. If you feel like there's a considerable amount of movement in your armrests or you need further help with your chair, they'll be able to better assist you from there as well.
