It was a fun show. Barbara Eden, Larry Hagman, and series creator Sidney Sheldon all wrote autobiographies. We heard that Larry would drink a bottle of champagne every day. No wonder he later had liver problems. That probably didn't help his bank account either. His book told about an encounter with an elephant. Sidney Sheldon wrote that the first episode didn't go well. Larry Hagman tried improvising lines. Bill Daily had been a stand-up comic and wasn't used to learning lines. Around this time Barbara got pregnant. Her offers to step aside got turned down. Ditto for Sheldon's offer to pay the extra amount for shooting the first season in color. You should do a video about shows that changed their theme songs. This is one example.

Guess Hagman got over himself since Eden appeared in several episodes of Dallas. You know Hagman had to be on board with that

The other thing it shared in common with Bewitched was a couple of the sets! I find it so odd that television was so uptight about navels showing in the 1960s with so many bikini clad women in beach movies and Scopitones!

Bob! Does your wife know you're hanging out in Jeanne's bottle? 😂 I could go for some more Jeanne videos. Larry Hagman was always meant to be JR Ewing I think 🤔 😕 😅
